We filed the I-129f with all supporting documents that is:

Letter of Intent to marry

Proof of ongoing relationship (both chat and call history)

Receipt of engagement ring

Pictures of time spent together during my two weeks visit

Pictures of his family and friends

Pictures of places we visited together

Pictures of gifts for him and his family

Receipts of historic places we visited

Receipts of every item we bought during my visit (food, shopping, hotel, road toll tickects)

Copy of my return ticket

Copy of my passport showing stamps.

What other elements do we need with regards to front-loading our case with enough / substantial evidence?

Thank you.

Seems like quite a bit of good information for front loading.  You may want to consider taking additional trips prior to the consulate phase of the K1 process.  I don't know a lot of details of Ghana, but the consulates of many African countries can be a challenge when it comes to K1s.

Good Luck!

Why?

They don't care about his family and friends. They won't want itemized receipts. Just include what they ask for. Front loading can often backfire. Include a few pictures of you guys together and follow the guide on the website. You're making this a lot harder than it has to be.

Things are a little different in the African countries due to high fraud rates.  They will want to see the couple with family and friends so the CO can see that family is involved.  They need to have a lot of front loaded information because of the fraud denial rates there.  We are luckier and don't need to do that.  They have an uphill battle and the OP has filed before.  That is why we are pushing the over the top proof of relationship.

Fair enough. I still think it's a bit much. :( It's unfortunate that they have to go through that much work for a legit relationship.

I agree with you but they have no real choice.  They have previous filings.  One ended in divorce and the other was withdrawn after NOA2.  They have more challenges than most of us so they need to do things to help their case.

Right.

OP -- In that case, I would absolutely include the TOS for the website that you met on. I had no idea that you had a history with filings and apologize for my ignorance regarding your situation. I wish you nothing but the best of luck.

Absolutely have the Terms of Service ready.  If you met online you will have to prove that the site was an IMBRA or not.  That information must be included in the petition.

If this is an honest relationship, you will be creative in your ways to provide proof.  True love and real relationships are easy to prove, imo.  Fake on the other hand, aren't.  Since you are previous filers you know what NOT to do. Adjudicators will be looking to see that time is well spent in keeping the LD relationship alive and thriving. Expect an interview and have plenty of evidence since you have filed. Good luck.

Agree with other posters this level (if not more) is totally needed for Ghana.

Which dating website? I always wondered if they were easier for those who met on one of the ‘mainstream’ sites (Harmony for example)

You’re off to a great start. Having Ghana through the Ghana embassy twice, I can assure you that frontloading your case is the correct thing to do.

How many trips have you made to Ghana? In person time spent together is like gold to this embassy. If you’ve only been once, I highly recommend you make another trip to spend time with your partner. I know it’s expensive (I made 5 trips in 2 years), but it’s a valuable piece of evidence for this embassy.

Another suggestion is maybe 2 or 3 letters of support from family or friends who know about your relationship. I know some say it doesn’t carry much weight, but in Ghana they are big about families and their support. My parents and brother all wrote letters on our behalf.
