Could rescheduling biometric cause some problem?

Hi!

We have a doubt! I received a letter from USCIS saying my fingerprints must be re-taken. I already did my biometrics on 04/21 and now they rescheduled to 05/22. it will be on a Tuesday.

My husband is worried because he works on weekdays and he needs to drive me to the local office in Detroit. He is thinking about rescheduling the appointment and ask if they can do it on a Saturday. I doubt if this is a good idea, but he said he wanted to try. But before, ask here on VJ (he said), of course.

Do you think this could cause more delay on my case? Or some problem?

It may or may not depending on how accommodating they are. I would just go to the appointment that they scheduled. My husband has to take time off of work to take me to mine, but he's doing it. We'd rather lose some time from work than have it rescheduled for god knows when.

My local ASC isn't even open Saturdays.

I think him taking the day off makes more sense, that's what we did.

We rescheduled, twice I think, and ended up going on a Saturday. Didn't seem to be a problem.

I don't know if it delays anything, but I never had an issue rescheduling my appointment. Also, I bet you could just show up on the next Saturday and there is a fair chance they would let you in to have them taken (then again they may refuse you and it'd be a wasted trip). My rescheduled appointment was about 3 weeks after the initially scheduled one.
