When filling form N-400 

type or print N/A if an item is not applicable or the answer is none 

I downloaded the pdf file while I am answering some question, some are not applicable and I want to type N/A but the pdf didn't allow me to put the slash(/)  only allow to type NA and some other question allow me to type it with the slash N/A

my question. is this ok to type NA only without the slash. or I should print the form and type N/A with a black pen?

I meant you could write it either way NA or N/A

one of the meaning for both is not applicable
