My wife's CR-1 medical exam was done in April 2017.  Her CR-1 visa was issued on May 10th.  Her visa expiration date was Sept. 2017 (5 months after her exam).  I was curious, but I didn't question the consulate........She entered the US on June 22nd without any problems (well before the exp date).

My point is that the expiration date can vary.....
