Has anyone considered e-mailing to request an expedite?

At least you're able to book a medical appointment! We can't until we have an interview date.

What embassy are you guys going through ??

Can anyone help I'm trying to upload pic on ds160 and it's not letting me what do I do

Are you sure the picture meets the requirements?
An issue with the DS-160 is that it is very sensitive. Make sure the picture has the proper background (basically has to be the equivalent of something USCIS will accept as passport photos)

may i quickly ask - at what stage at NVC does the petitioner or beneficiary receive the NVC email?

( or is it regular mail? ) when in Transit?

hmm.. the approved doctor is very far away from me, but it's in the same city as the place of the interview. Does anyone know if you can do the medical exam on the same day / one day before the interview? Then I wouldnt have to go all the way twice. But I wonder if there needs to be a gap in between for results to be ready?

Ugh - sorry for my last post. I’m actually in a fairly horrible place right now. I have been in the UK visiting Stuart and my mom and dad and on Friday my mom had a massive subarachnoid  brain hemorrhage and following emergency brain surgery is now on life support in the neuro ICU . I have extended my stay to help my dad and all my sisters are here but I have to go back the the US and my own children, my job etc  at some point. I don’t want to go back when we have no idea what is going to happen to my mama. And I don’t  want to leave Stuart who is the only one stopping me from falling apart.  So sorry for my negativity, all I want is for my mama to get better and for her to be able to come to my wedding but now that might never be a possibility.

@Thelucybelle, I’m so sorry to hear this.  I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for you and for all of your family.  Please know that I will be praying for healing for your sweet mama, praying that she fights through this and heals quickly as I’m sure that she wants nothing more than to be with you on your special day.  Stay strong dear Lucy and know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.  Sending love and hugs to you dear girl. (L)

It's advised to have your Medical, 2 weeks before your Interview. An Embassy doesn't issue K-1 visa in the absence of the Medical. So, to avoid AP stage for so long, make sure your Medical gets to the embassy on or before your Interview.

Thank you so much @Kswtangel Right now it’s a waiting game. She has gotten this far which is amazing but the next week is critical if she is going to make it. I have spent every day holding her hand and telling her has she has to wake up. I am so grateful for your love and kindness xxx

Oh sweet girl, you keep talking to her.  That’s the best thing you can do for her.  A few years ago, around Christmas, I almost lost my sister due to complications with the flu.  She spent over a month in the hospital, in a coma and on life support.  Each time we asked her doctors what her chances of recovering were, they never could give us good news.  It was complication after complication, from pneumonia to sepsis and what seemed to be everything in between.  Even still, we stayed with her, we prayed with her, we held her hand and talked to her.  On New Year’s Day, she finally opened her eyes.  By the grace of God, He had heard our prayers and she was healed despite all odds!  It was a long road to full recovery but she pulled through.  When I spoke to her about that time afterwards, she said that she could sometimes hear us talking to her and praying for her.  And when she would hear us, she would pray herself, in her heart and in her head as she wasn’t awake to use her voice.  The point I’m trying to make is that she knows you’re there, Lucy.  Keep holding her hand and talking to her.  She can hear you.  So can God.

Call the medical facility and ask. It is specific for country/medical center and what kind of tests they do. E.g where i went i need to wait around a week for the result. There was a different place and if you pay extra they do it same day, but still not fast enough to have the interview and medical on the same day.

Hi guys,  I'm totally freaking out right now. My US Embassy Manila interview will be in 8 hours. I just checked the fedex package that my Fiance sent to me, but i realized he forgot to send me the original form I-134 with his wet signature :/ I heard and read that the US Embassy Manila consuls usually don't ask for it. Could anyone help me? I mean who among you guys were already done with the interview (at US Embassy Manila) and weren't asked about the form I-134 or Affidavit of Support?

Casablanca. We called the doctor to make an appointment but they wanted to see we had a scheduled interview.

It's not a big issue because the appointments can be done same day as we call to make one.

The interview and medical appointments?

Thats pretty handy actually. Is your case in transit yet?

I wish the UK could do same day, it’d be easier than having him travel 6 hours twice to London but we’ll make do lol
