Depends on if you’re in the option 5 or option 7 group. I’ve seen some spend 10-14 days at NVC but others get sent in one day

How do you know if you're on option 5 or 7? Thank you!

Hahaha I did too! Is it because they know we’re destined for stardom? 😎😎😎 Kofi and I are probably way too boring 😏.

Does anyone knows whAt the logic behind this waiting? Why some cases are received and get the case number at the same day and others can be waiting for days? It's related to the embassy?

I don't really get it, this process is very frustrating :girlwerewolf2xn:

You won't know until you call. If you call and use option 7 and your case is electronic more than likely they will tell you to hang up and call back using option 5.

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

Can anyone help I'm trying to upload pic on ds160 and it's not letting me what do I do

I'm sure you have this problem solved by now, but if you haven't and anyone else wants to know....

Make sure the background is nice and white. Try Different browsers. Sometimes you have to try different pictures or take a new picture. Use the cropping tool they provide. Make sure photo is 600x600 DPI and less than 240kbps.

What worked for me after 3+ hours of trying to get a K1 and a K2 to upload, was the use of the cropping tool they provide.

Logic and uscis/nvc in the same sentence does not make sense. :jest:

We've received our NOA2 on March 5 but we still don't have our RDJ number from the NVC, anyone else in the same situation? I don't understand why it's taking so long...

may i ask, when you call you dial 1, then 7 or 5?

cos i was with "5" as 7 never was able to help and they said i was not in their system!

so yesterday after 17 days of waiting i called 5 again and i said i'd like to talk to a supervisor as i know that cases approved 10-13 days

after us already got their case number and the embassy received etc, and the guy actually asked me suddenly what my name, my fiance's name

etc is to verify the info and suddenly he gave me our case number!!!

it still says at NVC, but at least i have a number and am a step closer.

i can only recommend!

N-400: 12/05/2023 (confirmed fingerprints are re-used)

Interview scheduled for: 05/09/2024

guys - the day has come!!!!!!

WE GOT OUR NVC CASE NUMBER (AND INVOICE NUMBER?)

after calling now with feeling like #######, i started "if i just hear now the sentence of the 8 weeks, i'd prefer to talk to a supervisor as we are running out of patience" and dear Max said "well i can give you your case number, it's just still at NVC so you can't really do more" ....

i apologised for my little temper of course, as it wasn't his fault that i was so upset! he laughed and said it was ok as he can only imagine how

we feel :)

so let the fun begin!!!! now i hope it will be in transit shortly and arrive at the embassy so we can move forward! bam bam bam

my energy is slowly starting to get back

Congratulations, girl! Glad you finally got your case number. Wooohoo!

I am using number 5. They always tell us the same thing like "WE ARE STILL PROCESSING IT". Also sometimes when we call, they tell us that our names are not matching with the receipt number that we have which is weird because if we hang up and then call them again another person will tell us that they are still processing it, I mean, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Of course or receipt number isn't wrong because we have the approval letter and we checked that one billion times and they always tell us the same. I really don't know what is going on but I will try to do the same as you did. Thanks for replying!

i can only recommend to say you want to talk to a supervisor.

i fully understand what you go through when they tell you these things, i heard that also for 17 days...

therefore, try to push with the supervisor and the moment i said that they were able to give me a number :) suddenly!
