Good afternoon everyone,

We got our case number yesterday, I have almost all of my I-134 documents and I am going to send them to my fiance next week. He is currently gathering all the documents that he needs for the interview (luckily he is almost done as well). I have double/triple checked the Moroccan embassy page and I think we have everything in order.

Is there anything that we need to do or is there anything that we are missing? I just wanted to double check with people on this thread just in case i am missing something.

Thanks again! Everyone is so supportive and I appreciate everyone's advice.

CEAC website now has it marked "In Transit" :) 4 days after I received the case number.

It also says " Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

What does that mean? They assign interview dates?

https://th.usembassy.gov/visas/family-immigration/the-interview/

https://th.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/packets/

The interview date is normally given by NVC when you are applying for an immigrant visa (DS-260 requirement is for this group) the others make their own appointment (DS-160 crowd). Read the links I have given you and you will be knowledgeable in what to do. Go back a few days and see other tips  that I have left to find other places to look here on VJ for processing information. And again, go to your sub-forum and ask your questions, I explain why below. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/151-thailand/

If you go to the US Embassy Bangkok you can see the requirements.  :jest: I chuckle when I see someone who asks what's next for their Embassy to those who are from Sweden, Russia, Ghana or Pakistan or from wherever when these people are trying to figure out what they need to have for their interview. Your not the only one. :D

The I-134 documents, with a "wet signature" need to be sent to the beneficiary but you can email all the other "stuff" for her to print locally. It will keep down your shipping costs. Since I don't know what you have gathered I can't say what is missing. Just be sure to go over your Embassy Letter/P3 or whatever they call it to insure you have everything.  Use it as a check list. One more thing is bring everything with you even stuff you have submitted or think you might need for the interview to avoid RFE's which will cause further delays.

Everyone should read this

Congratulations!  I'm so happy it all worked for you.  Did you do medical and schedule the interview?

Thank you!  We already paid the Visa fee however,  we haven't schedule yet an interview cos I have to settle first some properties here in Philippines. This is so unexpected for us cos we anticipated it would take some time.

I'm so excited to hear the approval of your family's visa SOON.

Honestly, I thought so to regarding my case. I called and the girl was so rude. She said they were doing an additional review. I called again and had the sweetest lady who said she saw nothing of that sort, just that a file was created wednesday the 4th and it's just waiting to be shipped out. Give them a call, but call more than once. I never trust the first person I speak with because some people just don't care about their job.

Thank you for telling me this; it gives me a little hope xxx

Quick question....my fiancé will be going to the internet café to e-sign, submit and print the confirmation page from the DS-160.

But since my case is ready, can't I pay the visa fee and schedule the interview and appointment or do I have to first wait until he submits the DS-160?

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

I needed to fill out this with passport info, where i want my password to be delivered if the visa is approved, and I payed the visa fee thru this website. (Need to bring the confirmation page to the interview). Also for some countries ppl can schedule the interview on this website. Might be different for Hungary. Best would be to e-mail the embassy or call and ask for the next steps.

I just did! But thank you so much :)

Hi everybody,

I am posting the following question here in our group as well since I am not having much luck getting a speedy answer out in the general forum.

I am currently busy filling out the DS-160 and got stumped by two questions or section that I am not sure how to proceed on. Under the Family section, there are two further subsections called 'Relatives' and 'Fiancé/Fiancée' respectively.

To understand my confusion with these seemingly easy questions, a bit of background is necessary.

We are a same-sex couple, both living and working in Seoul, South Korea. He is an American (petitioner) and I am South African (beneficiary). We are both planning to move to the US later this year. We know we will face a few unique challenges with regards to the affidavit of support and proof of the USC's intent to re-establish domicile. We have a co-sponsor, a place to live rent-free for a year or for as long as we need, and a well-thought-out plan to secure ourselves financially. Usually, when people file for K1 visas the USC is in the United States and therefore the following questions would be easy to answer.

My questions:

1. Under Relatives subsection is the question: Do you have any immediate relatives, not including parents, in the United States? (You have to click YES or NO). I opted to click YES. Is this right, even though my fiance is not physically present in the US right now?

2. Under the Fiancé/Fiancée subsection, I have to fill out his address. Which address do I fill out? The one where we will live for the first year of marriage in the States? Or the one we live at right now in Korea?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Let me also tag some people who seem to have gone through the same thing: @Bryonym  @T+E
