This thread will explain a little of what needs to be done with a Pivot case. Your case is experimental as it looks like you are testing their new website/process. First i have heard about that process.

No need to add anything more to why or why not have you met in the last year. The only requirement is that you met within two years of the interview. That's it.

Thanks much.  I'd seen that but was wondering about UK petitioners specifically and didn't see anything on that.

NO need for I-129f as it is already in the packet that was sent from NVC to USEM. You must have missed the numerous other post's that I have made inviting other applicants from the Philippines to view this information. So here is the link to get all the information needed. CEAC website now has it marked "In Transit" 4 days after I received the case number.

 

It also says " Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

 

What does that mean? They assign interview dates?

Morocco is different. Once our case says ready I believe we email the consulate and request an interview. I wish I could see what's available but they don't work that way.  it's okay though I heard it can be within 2-4 weeks, usually 4 though and that's fine bc I still have to get this package out to the fiancé !

Well, I can't complain, the embassy here seems to be a smooth process. Good luck, you'll be fine!

Got our NOA2 approval on March 26th. I didn't even think about calling the NVC until yesterday (day #10), and they already had it and had already assigned a case number! I was obviously quite happy, but also felt like an idiot for not calling sooner. If you're waiting to call... stop waiting and start calling. Keep on keeping on, everyone!

So what if they hadn't assigned a number till yesterday does that still make you an idiot for calling today? mmmm You did the right thing and in the end your result is your not stressed and you didn't spend time on the phone over the last few days only to get an answer that you need to wait longer. Nothing Idiotic about that. The post from those who have received their case numbers have numbered right around 8-10 days. Again I say you did the right thing.
