Congrats. Have you visited the sub-forum for the Philippines? here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

And use Hank's website to navigate all that you need to do to complete your visa interview. It's free and has all the steps and links for documents needed. Here: http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Most likely you will not get any kind of Packet as PhilPost sucks at delivering.

Thank you! Yes, I followed Hank's website since I joined VJ. Now,  I will visit the sub forum for the Philippines. 😊

I called the NVC today and was told that my case is a PIVOT processed case.  My fiance is from the UK/ London.  I'm wondering if any other UK folks are PIVOT cases?  Also, has anyone experienced getting a case number much sooner than eight weeks.  I know they are taking much longer than the other cases to get a case number assigned.  Any information would be helpful.  Thank you!

This thread will explain a little of what needs to be done with a Pivot case. Your case is experimental as it looks like you are testing their new website/process. First i have heard about that process.

Oh yeah, we had met or were even together for quite sometime for two years prior to filing petition. I’m more of talking after petition filed and till embassy interview we would have zero visits and almost a year since we would have met. And should take chats/logs for time after petition filed to show on going relationship or doesn’t matter? Now I have to prepare an answer for a fact as to why We didn’t meet during this whole engagement time: the answer is simple, we thought we couldn’t. We just assumed we couldn’t cuz it would have jeopardize this fiancé process.

No need to add anything more to why or why not have you met in the last year. The only requirement is that you met within two years of the interview. That's it.

I hope that they receive their case numbers for those who are still waiting.

Thanks much.  I'd seen that but was wondering about UK petitioners specifically and didn't see anything on that.  :)

To those who recently had their interview in Manila:

Is it necessary to bring a copy of the 1st I-129F submission, or I just have to bring recent photos / Viber screenshots from NOA1 date to present? Thank you!

NO need for I-129f as it is already in the packet that was sent from NVC to USEM. You must have missed the numerous other post's that I have made inviting other applicants from the Philippines to view this information. So here is the link to get all the information needed. Follow it and you shouldn't have any problems. http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

I know! I saw a lot of people from brazil on here too which I didn't expect. I guess I was just surprised in general how many people go through this process on a monthly basis!

Morocco is different. Once our case says ready I believe we email the consulate and request an interview. I wish I could see what's available but they don't work that way. :( it's okay though I heard it can be within 2-4 weeks, usually 4 though and that's fine bc I still have to get this package out to the fiancé !

Well, I can't complain, the embassy here seems to be a smooth process. Good luck, you'll be fine!

Got our NOA2 approval on March 26th. I didn't even think about calling the NVC until yesterday (day #10), and they already had it and had already assigned a case number! I was obviously quite happy, but also felt like an idiot for not calling sooner. If you're waiting to call... stop waiting and start calling. Keep on keeping on, everyone!

So what if they hadn't assigned a number till yesterday does that still make you an idiot for calling today? mmmm You did the right thing and in the end your result is your not stressed and you didn't spend time on the phone over the last few days only to get an answer that you need to wait longer. Nothing Idiotic about that. The post from those who have received their case numbers have numbered right around 8-10 days. Again I say you did the right thing.
