Lack of English Wow tha'ts crazy. Yes I'm just waiting for it to change from at NVC to in transit, once i see it say in transit he can leave for Senegal for the medical  he lives in the Gambia which is the next country over. He has family there so will stay with them. We all don't have to much longer.

I wasn’t expecting this! We just finished the DS160, all we need is for Atti to take a picture but he says he needs a hair cut first (🤦🏼‍♀️The man is bald 🤷‍♀️) go figure 😂😂😂 anyway Hungary is a bit different from what I gathered. He needs to contact embassy to schedule appointment once we receive packet 3.

I was a bit frustrated the other day because someone told me they were recently denied the K1 and they had no red flags. Come to find out , her and the fiancé had quite a few red flags so I don't like people telling me "half-a$$" stories to make me nervous.. I feel better now knowing what actually happened.

It took about 16 days from my NOA2 to get my case number. For Mumbai, there is only a packet 4 and which my fiance hasn't received yet. They usually send it by mail, I've read on this site that some people don't receive it by mail so you can email ustraveldocs and they will email it to you. You should be able to find the packet 4 on this site if you want to get a head start.

I don’t want to think of a plan B just yet. I wanna make sure I’m doing this right. I keep on telling Atti to get prepared because we don’t know what they can come up with.

Just a hard time trying to get the info from Atti! 🤯😤 but between hairpulls and laugh attacks we are almost done with it, just missing the picture. Is the financial affidavit a form I need to fill out and do I have to mail Atti docs or do I just email them. Thanks! 🙏🏻

you can look at different countries on a monthly basis. March isn't there yet. I was looking at Morocco but I browsed and compared others too. The cases that I'm now aware of being denied,(in Morocco) make sense as to why they were denied so I'm not too stressed now but the fact is numbers all over are still less and less. 

 

Wish it wasn't so hard to be with the one you love! 

I'm not sure if I'm going t o look that info lol, I wanna believe that we'll all have our loved ones in a few months. And yes, this process is too much!

just so you know, I sent my tax transcripts, tax returns, pictures, birth certificates, two letters from my employer, letter of being legally single, 2017 deposits signed and stamped from my bank, conversations (at least one from each month we spoke) my phone bill statements from every month , and of course proof of the 6 trips I made. I probably over did it. Decided to go with the better safe than sorry routine

But not the original birth certificate, right? You are very prepared! Congrats! You'll be fine!

The affidavit has to have a wet signature.  You will have to sign that and send it.

Hey everyone! Just called NVC on a whim thinking that they wouldn't have received our case yet but they received it today and it has been assigned a case number!  Our NOA2 was March 26th (on paper, 28th online). Any idea on how long it takes from there to go to Mumbai?
