Hi guys! Congrats on everyone's approvals and case numbers and interview dates! :)

I have a silly question I believe, my apologies in advance. I was just curious about the NVC received dates; do you find out about these when you call or is there a different way? Just got really confused and I'm wondering if I've missed something...

Yes that's what you will use. WAC is no longer used for this stage after receiving your NVC case number.

I've just submitted my DS160 online and have printed off my confirmation. I've gone to the website to pay the fees and putting my case number in is fine, it brings me to the screen where I give my date of birth and confirm that I am the applicant but it just keeps telling me my date of birth is invalid.

Help!

mm/dd/yyyy try using that format.

It's laid out with little drop down boxes so it asks for DD-MMM-YYYY and that's what I'm doing :(

It's so confusing. The first thing it asks for is Case Number so I put my WAC petition number and that takes me to the screen where it asks for my DOB but then tells me it's invalid, and if I put the NVC case number and try that instead it just comes up with a message saying:

K visas are nonimmigrant visas that assist spouses or future spouses of American citizens in entering the United States. As with all nonimmigrant visa applicants, a DS-160 must be filled out in order for a consular section to process the case.

Are you completing the DS160. It looks like you are in the wrong form.

As far as what I have observed most of us did find out our NVC received dates by calling. When you get in contact with the NVC and once it gets reflected from their system, the agent will tell you "We received your case last......."

I've already completed the DS160 and now I'm trying to pay the fees but maybe I'm getting myself in a muddle. I think I just need to complete the notification of applicant readiness form now once I've scheduled my medical which will be next week I'm just not sure what these fees are that I have to pay with my invoice number given by NVC.

Sorry, I'm all over the place and I've done so much research but this part is throwing me off.

Hey, how’s everything going for you? Have your fiancé had the interview already? ☺️

Hey!! Well the medical office in Oslo was closed 6 work days for Easter 😳 They just opened again today so we were able to book an appointment at the Swedish embassy for April 12!! The next one we saw after that was May 3. Maybe some more will open up. How’s everything going for you? ☺️ I see your medical exam is booked!! Getting so close now.

I’m also a bit stressed over the medical exam form DS-3025. Scandinavia seems pretty lax about flu shots and ours is marked “not age appropriate”, but I’m not sure if this will cause a problem. I wonder what your form will say! Edit: Actually your medical exam will take place out of flu season so it shouldn’t be an issue at all! Ours was just a few days before the last day of the season aaah
