Now since I have the case number can I schedule the medical, biometrics and interview or not yet since he did receive yet the package from Mumbai consulate? 

For Mumbai, you should first complete the DS 160 form and then pay the fees. After it says ready on the NVC website you can then schedule the interview.

Panicking on here and complaining that it's been so and so amount of time is a bit ridiculous..

It makes everyone else question if something is wrong with their case, when nothing is wrong.. because we are ALL still within normal time frame.

No case is the same. Doesn't always mean something is wrong..doesn't mean someone elses case is more special than yours...

There are still people in July/Aug waiting for their NOA2... try to be a bit more thankful that you've made it past that step.

I don't know if this is about me or just a general post. 

I honestly didn't see anyone panicking or complaining. 

About me, I was just asking a question. 

I'm patiently waiting for my case number and just asked a suggestion, which is what the forum is here for. 

I know it can take up to 6 weeks and every case is different. Nobody ever said their case is more special or important than others, especially who's waiting longer. 

I haven't complained ever. Actually I feel like I'm pretty lucky. 

If I was complaining about something, was mostly about my fiance who doesn't want to call haha but it's not a big deal. It's more about me and my constant anxiety (about everything really). 

 

What I think is that a lot of people are assuming people are complaining and being kind of rude with others people questions. 

 

We are all in this together. Just try to be nice and supportive instead of accusing of not being thankful.

Guys please should I use my WAC number or my NVC number to fill out the DS-160? I’m a little confused about which one is the appropriate one. Thanks 🙏🏽

Has anyone visited after receiving the case number? Since my interview is only in May, I booked a flight to visit my fiance this month, but would appreciate any comments from people who have travelled after NOA2

My fiance and I traveled together from Japan to the USA a few weeks after the NOA2 and had no problem. We even told the immigration officer that we were engaged and he just asked if we were getting married while she was in the USA and of course the answer was NO

Received NVC emails today! 13 days after they received our approval from USCIS. Traveling, but will update google doc once I get home.

Mine took one day from "at NVC" to "in transit" and another day to "ready" - since I couldn't schedule an interview online when it said in transit, god knows why, I emailed my embassy and within 2 hours it changed to "ready" and they replied back with instructions/packet 3

They are really backed up right now... trust me as I just waited a month for my case number. Don't worry, I believe the UK is not in the electronic group so once they receive your case they will likely process it quickly.

This is awesome I just had a mini panic attack when I was told they didn’t receive it after being told they had, whole process has me on edge 😂😂
