They were just giving you the textbook answer - it took us (an electronic case/embassy) about 7 days after NVC received to get our number assigned and we were "In Transit" after a day. The speed of the process after "In Transit" hits will depend on your embassy. Don't worry too much :)

All I do is worry 😂😂😂😂

Thanks for the mention .... not even thinking about this anymore. A rejection would not surprise me. RFE for a simple issue .. if we get rejected we'll just file again and give it another year.  I have a co worker whose husband became a doctor here, he was from China and they were already married. She waiting in China for 7 years, two rejections.  This system is garbage, pure garbage.

Ooo I'm sorry the intrusion, omg, two rejections?? Based on what? And this on the final interview or during noa2?

They are applying again? Poor couple 🙏

Hi, marchies! Anyone from March 22nd noa2? For what we been checking here the case could be received in something between 8/9 days and 2 weeks, and the number could be right away or 2 weeks. Is that correct? Well, I'm not considering being stuck in a drawer.

It seems to be that way. Hopefully yours will be assigned a case number soon!

Funny. I was hoping for a June 2/3 wedding. Fortunately my mother has waterfront property  that doesn't require a booking lol (I was setting it up like the movie twilight (tons of white floral basically..) but the invites I've ordered are just blank spaces for the dates. I'll hand write them in when we have an exact date. Ya just never know withthis whole process :)

I’m going with same theme (don’t have a waterfront property but found a nice lake front park with a stone building) that made all my dreams come true!

Beautiful! I had a park in mind here and then just decided on my moms place. It'll be a small get together. Just really wanted to avoid a town hall setting

Me too!

I just want to advise you to something that is important concerning wedding plans. This is for everyone's attention. During the interview do not bring up, show pictures or talk about any kind of ceremony that might be construed as a wedding in your current country. There have been others who have had a "engagement" party in their home country prior to the interview and the CO saw pictures of that function with all types of guests, food and celebration cheer, and concluded it must have been a wedding and declined the applicants K-1 visa. Upon which there was nothing that could be said or done to rectify the situation. Their K-1 visa became DEAD at that moment.

So be guarded in what you say and what you show picture wise to the CO. Of course if you have wedding plans after you arrive in USA and you are asked by the CO about those plans then there is no harm in sharing your plans but let it be known that a date is hard to set since you are unsure of your approval but you are planning to marry within 90 days after arrival. Many female CO's love to hear about such plans and sometimes spend a little more time learning about your wedding plans. Not for the information to adjudicate your application but just because females are more curious and interested in such plans.

I am able to and there's nothing listed... Montreal is notorious for not posting K1 dates and/or not having many available. They're also bad about sending Packet 3 in a reasonable amount of time, so I'd feel lucky to get an interview in May. It's best to prepare for the worst, Montreal moves slow and doesn't give out a lot of information.
