literally just walked back home after 12 hours on the road! buuuuuut: the embassy appointment went well and they send out the visa/passport tuesday!!! initially i wanted to go pick

NVC received our case today but the case number is ready yet. I'll call back on Monday to get it. Only took 9 days for them to receive it. 

 

NOA2 - March 21st

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

You are rocking and rolling now!  They answer phones until 10:00 eastern....just sayin’.  Maybe one more call later please!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I called 3 times today, still no case number. I think the electronic group is cursed. On Monday it will be one month since NOA2. 

05-04-2018: Married :jest:

 

AOS/EAD:

05-07-2018: Packet mailed via USPS

05-10-2018: Official NOA1 date

05-17-2018: NOA1 email/text

05-22-2018: NOA1 letter received

06-01-2018: RFE issued

06-13-2018: RFE received in the mail

06-25-2018: Response to RFE sent

06-27-2018: Response to RFE arrived at USCIS

07-07-2018: Change in online status: RFE response received 

07-10-2018: Biometrics (went before appointment & to a different office)

07-12-2018: AOS case status updated to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview”

09-29-2018: EAD case status updated to "New card is being produced"

09-30-2018: EAD case status updated to "Case was approved"

10-01-2018: EAD case status updated to "Card was mailed to me"

10-05-2018: EAD card received in the mail

10-12-2018: SSN card received in the mail

When you say electronic group do you mean those approved through app/website?:unsure:

hi guys pls enlighten me i thought k1 visa is non immigrant but why when i checked my ceac status with the given manila case number it say immigrant is this normal?...hehehehehe

If I'm not wrong it is because the K1 is a non immigrant visa with immigration intent... So it is just a matter of technicalities, since the K1 doesn't mean that you can live indefinitely in the US but they know that you have to go through the green card process once you comply with all the requisites. Point is... It is normal that it is under the immigrant visa section haha. Don't worry.

I called NVC just now and they told me my case is a “special” electronic case 🤔 I have to press option 5 every time I called to get info or attempt to get a case number apparently because not all the agents have access to this type of “special electronic” cases so there are only a few who can provide info on this. She also told me it will take them up to 8 weeks to assign a case number and they will notify me. Although she did say that if I happen to call a day and they have the case assigned they will give it to me. Anyone has any experience with these electronic cases that can shed some light into how long it takes for them to assign a case number please?

Thanks to @Trinab80 , i got inspired to call NVC and found out they received our case today as well. Tho no case number yet it still makes me happy coz they got it only after 9 days :)

Definitely call Monday! I just spoke to George there (so pleasant haha) and he said to call back Monday so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Hello everyone! Had a question.

I looked at the I-134 and in Part 1, Item 11.b on page 1, it asks about 'Citizenship or Residency or Status'. I got my citizenship as a child through my parents who went through the naturalized process. However, I do not have  'Certificate of Citizenship.'  Is my US passport enough to prove citizenship for this form or do I need to apply for a certificate?  That process (USCIS form N-600) could take months and will heavily delay the visa process.
