Go to the appointment website https://cgifederal.secure.force.com and enter your information and you will then see on the left side of the page first available dates. It's been awhile since I have used this so play around with it till you find your information.

Also, use this website for help in getting beyond the NOA2. This is specifically for the Philippines and it's free to use. http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Thanks!

I know I'm only 4 days since NOA 2, but How do I know when NVC received my case? By calling them or by other means?

9 days for them to receive our case. Call them! They are super friendly.

Question when tracking the case, if we have not received our case numbers yet is there another website that we check for transit and all that? or we can still use the website at uscis and the app

I remember reading in May, June, or maybe July filers thread about USCIS was sending files electronically to NVC and it was faster to get number. Does anyone remember this and I was thinking there was a different way to go about checking if your case was sent electronically?

I'm going to cypher through and see if I can find the posts, but thought I would ask in case someone remembers off the top of their head or has it saved. Thanks.

Just call NVC.  Don't bother searching here.  You have better things to do.  They have an online link but it takes them a couple days to respond.  NVC is much nicer on the phone than USCIS.  Just call them and get your number while you are together.

Hello!

So our NOA2 date is 22nd March. We called the NVC today and they told us because of the overload it will take 6 weeks for NVC to receive the case and another 8 weeks to process it. Is this a freaking joke? :(

That is what they told me too.  My petition was only at NVC for 5 days before it was ready and it was received and got a number the day after I was told 6 weeks.

It took 8 days from USCIS to NVC.

They seem to enjoy doing that to us.  It took 8 days from USCIS to NVC and 5 days to be ready and at the Embassy.

I know right! We were wondering how they were quoting a timeline of 3.5 months when NOA2 is only valid for 4 months. :P Hoping we receive it by next week.

Yes in about a week you can start calling NVC. Once the provide you with your number you'll need to fill out your DS-160 pay your fee and at that point depending on if your embassy does online for packet 3 or mail you can schedule your medical and interview im not sure how the london embassy does this.
