06-01-2018: RFE issued

06-25-2018: Response to RFE sent

06-27-2018: Response to RFE arrived at USCIS

07-07-2018: Change in online status: RFE response received 

07-10-2018: Biometrics (went before appointment & to a different office)

07-12-2018: AOS case status updated to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview”

09-29-2018: EAD case status updated to "New card is being produced"

09-30-2018: EAD case status updated to "Case was approved"

10-01-2018: EAD case status updated to "Card was mailed to me"

10-05-2018: EAD card received in the mail

10-12-2018: SSN card received in the mail

Filled out the DS-160, submitted this morning!

Fiancee paid the MRV fee this morning too!

 

Now we just have to wait for CEAC to tell us "ready"...

Congratulations!!!  Its about time!

 

I still haven't received anything from NVC and our petition is already in Manila.  If fact, USCIS still has me at "RFE response received".

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

At this point, I am asking myself that same question.  I don't think they are a bad service but they certainly aren't required.  I used them and still had an RFE.  I know I am not going to pay and extra $1500 for them to do the AOS.  I will do that on my own with a lot of help from people here.

Good Friday is not a Federal Holiday for USCIS or NVC.  The Embassy in Manila is closed Thursday and Friday because they follow the holiday schedule of the Philippines and the US!  They get a lot of days off there.

Each year is a separate request.  Took about a week to receive them.  I filed my 2017 taxes the third week of February and was able to request the transcript 2 weeks later.

Im only seeing the WAC # requested on the ds-160... I thought we were waiting for the NVC case number just so it could be added on that form... am I missing something?

Tax return transcripts, though both were available the account transcripts were also available to download. When i went on the website it said request by mail or online.I chose the online version, it ask several security questions to set an account and after that all of my tax returns showed up with transcripts or account transcripts available.

I used the online method and printed the wage transcript. They want to know if your income/wages pass the poverty threshold. I am not self-employed and will have other documents as well.

Thanks sis!  We are hoping for POE in July, Ghana takes a while but God willing it'll all work out fine.
