Thank you!

Yes, they showed up when my status turned into "ready". The case created is actually the date NVC received your case and the case last updated is when your case has been received by the USEM of beneficiary and is ready for scheduling of interview. 😊

Thanks. For a moment I got scared seeing your screenshot and having the same "screen". :)

Question...I'm filling out Reni's DS-160...for the question: "Have you made any specific travel plans?", did you click yes or no?

The answer is no because you do not know when you will complete everything for the interview, when the interview is and if you will have any RFE's.  Unless of course you went and guessed the date of travel and have bought a ticket which would not of been the most intelligent thing to do.

The form itself is easy, it's just redundant. Like, you asked who the US Point of Contact is but then ask if you have immediate relatives and to select fiancé and have to fill out my information AGAIN!!!

Then the question, "have you ever had a US visa canceled or revoked" and then I click yes and the box opens for us to type in an explanation. Then the very next question they ask is "have you ever been denied entry or admission into the US", for us to click yes, and the another box opens for us to type in an explanation. I just gave you an explanation...but you want me to repeat myself AGAIN!!! SMH...I just copied and pasted the same explanation in both boxes.

USCIS took all my patience away that now I have to find some more patience. But I'm better now..2nd cup of coffee is starting to kick in!!!

Let's take a closer look at why and what they are asking.

"have you ever had a US visa canceled or revoked"  Let's say you applied for a visa before and you went through everything even to the point you finished the interview and received your visa. The next day you get a call from the Embassy asking you to return to the Embassy with the visa. Once there they inform your because your visa is being canceled. Of course you go nuts and in the end they make the rules and your visa is DEAD.

"have you ever been denied entry or admission into the US" You get your visa and you travel to the US and upon entry they ask you to go to secondary screening and they tell you nothing. So you sit in 2nd screening area for 2 hours upon which a Immigration Officer approaches and calls you into his/her office. That IO explains that in further investigating, you have xyz in your past and therefore we are denying you entry. You'll need to get on the next flight back to your country. Visa is DEAD.

Don't think this has not happened as just about 2 years ago a visa after being issued was revoked. Don't know why as the OP never said. But it does happen rare as it may seem.

Thanks!

There is no procedure to check online. You can call 603-334-0700 or 603-334-0888 Be prepared for a wait. Tell the operator that you are requesting a case number for your K-1. They will ask for the receipt number located on the left top of your I-797 (NOA2) form. Then he/she will either tell you that they have not received your case or you will be asked for the names and date of birth. If they don't have the case, you will be told it can take 30 to 45 days for them to receive it and to wait however many days/weeks and call back. That's a pad answer so ignore it. You can call back the next day or as often as you want. NVC's hours are 7am to 12 am (midnight) eastern time. Monday through Friday except Federal Holidays. Calling early at 7 am on the dot will get you in the fastest or calling late the lines to be open most often.

Thanks!

Once they receive your case and create a case number they should email the american fiance, if you sent that form with email and phone number. If not, ring them at (603)-334-0700 and press 1 for English then option 7 to speak to a representative and give them your WAC
