I'm the Americana  but yes, he will have to travel to it.  It's about 4 hours by coach, and like a 30 minute plane ride, lol.  Thankfully he lives in a major city so we have options.  I was able to get in touch with another Americana on VJ who went through the process just a couple of months before us, and it's been very comforting!   We just have to hope for the best.

Yes!  I already had a trip set for Rose's birthday so we scheduled the interview while I am there.  She could have interviewed as early as April 2.  We put it off to April 17.

It was sweet Shawn! And just over the phone but the nvc website definitely says it’s there when I add my number!

Definitely try again today!!!

I have a question tho. The case created and case last updated part showed up after the case went to the Ready state or it was there from the beginning? When I check our case status it says at nvc, but no creation/updated date.

We have done our D160 - we might be a bit overprepared.  My FH tried calling but they had shut for the day! He will try again tomorrow !

Yes, they showed up when my status turned into "ready". The case created is actually the date NVC received your case and the case last updated is when your case has been received by the USEM of beneficiary and is ready for scheduling of interview. 😊
