USCIS told you yours was sent on 3/8 right? They said mine was sent on 3/9 and I just called and they don't have it yet. He did say that once they receive cases, it can take 2-3 days to scan them in.

I can’t ring USCIS because I’m the beneficiary, and my fiancé is super busy, but boy I hope my case was sent on that day, cause it should be ready soon!

Beneficiary can contact NVC.  It is only USCIS that has that restriction. Once you get past USCIS the beneficiary has some rights.  Good luck to you.  My NOA2 date was March 8!  Lets get this moving!

So is there a strategic order to get stuff done quicker?

Can we arrange medical appointments ASAP if there's a long wait? Or do we need to have a case number and the packet 3 in hand before even SCHEDULING the medical appointment.

Same with the K1 visa interview at the embassy... can we just pay and schedule ASAP?

That depends on your embassy, so maybe try to search for someone that has done it in South Korea! But just so you know, here in Brazil, we can only schedule medical after we have the interview booked, and to book the interview we need the case number that NVC gives us, and for the interview, we need to have the packet 3 (which is an email) with us, so basically ppl book the interview like one month in advance and in the meantime hope for the email to arrive, if it doesn't, we can always reschedule the interview for a later date.

ok great!

I think it is a bit different from South Korea, but i'm not sure.  That's great advice though.

Does the packet 3 always come in an email or is that brazil-specific?

That's Brazil specific, I've read other people posting that packet 3 is an actual packed mailed to the fiance.

Edit: also, heres the link for your embassy

We have some good info under the Brazilian one so it's worth checking yours above. https://br.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee/

oh wow the brazil site has way more information than the korean one.

it does say in the korean site that the Packet 3 will be sent via email actually.   But I don't believe my fiancee's (beneficiary) email was listed in my i-129F, only mine (the petitioner)... i guess that means I will get the email?

Well here in BR, in order to schedule the interview, beneficiary files out a DS-160 form online (same form as a tourist visa), and that's where we'll put our email. Ring your embassy, maybe they'll help you out!
