I am really so glad! I sneaked in your timeline and it's been 301 days, girl! 3 freakin hundred and one days!!!! I really admire your strength (you and your fiance actually). As I've said before, you are one of my inspirations since I joined this forum. I just can't wait for @JSCGPV to join us too before March ends. That guy deserves his NOA2 big time!

Yes girl just over 10 months. But I found my strength through everyone here and my fiance because this was the hardest thing I've been through. @NateAndJessica got his approval on March 22nd too so it's a wrap for our May filers thread...no more waiting for our approval. We were the last 2 left and came through the finish line together!

Now on to the next race!!

Hello Marchie-Munchkins! :luv:

I received my NOA2 Last Night (23rd March)! Just waiting to receive from the mail.
Feeling so unprepared at the moment, but I think I have everything sorted!

Mainly just playing the last levels of the good old 'Waiting Game' - which I've gotten pretty good at I must say...  :clock:
Looking forward to tackling the Big Boss, once and for all!  :bonk:

I’m so sorry everyone, I know this has been asked a million and one times (I’ve seen it all over VJ) but I can’t seem to really find a definitive answer of EXACTLY what I need to do next! I’ve been googling all morning and I’m just reading different things everywhere.

We got our case number yesterday (I’m the UK beneficiary) and I just don’t know what to do and in what order. So far I think this is what I need to do:

- check case number on CEAC until it says “ready”

- complete DS-160

- obtain police certificate

- get medical summary from GP

- complete medical questionnaire

- fill out the “readiness” form (but I’ve seen conflicting information about this - help!)

- get affidavit form from my fiancé along with proof of income, harcopy of NOA2, letter of intent to marry

- gather further evidence of ongoing relationship since applying

sorry for the long post, can someone confirm? 💋

You can start the ds-160 now and save it until your case is ready then e-sign and print confirmation page. You'll need it for the day ofthe interview. You'll need more passport photos for your medical and interview.

Everything else on your list is correct. Make sure your date on the letter of intent is updated and more current.

Does the NOA2 has to be the original sent to the petitioner? Or a copy of that will suffice?

As long as you have a hardcopy letter it's fine. Always make copies of everything so you have extra in case something gets lost or misplaced.
