How long has it been at NVC? It seems to take 7-10 days to move towards embassy.

Finally got medical sorted out, it isn't the answer we hoped for, but we have to accept that (the closest place is a 20 hour drive :( )

How much time are you all giving between your medical and interview dates (or estimated interviews)? We're doing the medical 4/25 and hoping for an interview around 5/14, but we have to have the medical info shipped out to FH's address between those dates.. Hopefully we aren't too crazy :P

Similar here...medical on 3/29 with 8hr drive and interview on April 13th (with 2hr flight). One week between plus a week for mailing should be plenty.

Hey! We just booked our medical for 4/16. Our case still shows "At NVC" though  I'm gonna try to call NVC tonight to see if it was sent yet or not. Why are you having trouble booking the interview?

Out of curiosity, did you book your medical today, and they offered you that date? Regardless, your case should shift from NVC in plenty of time still! Mine took 3 working days to leave NVC but as others have mentioned here, as soon as it shows 'In Transit' you'll quickly see that it's 'Ready'. You can always see if you can book your interview anyway at this point, since you're so close? Some of us have had issues registering to book the interview but it finally got fixed for me to be able to do that tonight. Good luck with your case!

Thank you for replying! We booked our medical yesterday. My fiance booked it. He said it was fairly simple, he called first thing in the morning and didn't have to wait. He really wanted the 16th (it was perfect for his work schedule) so he suggested it to them. At first the lady said it was booked, but then she said she found a spot first thing in the morning so he took it. We just got lucky I think. I'll let you know if I have trouble registering to book our interview! Good luck with you case as well :)

We got a case number last Friday but our case arrived last Thursday so we are in that range I guess. I'm hoping we have our case "Ready" by Monday so we can book the interview!

Hello everyone

Question

We got a case number from nvc

What is the next step?

I really don't know what to do after this

Help please

Go to your Embassy's website as there is information there. Also, there is a web portal here on VJ about processing in UAE at http://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.php?country=United Arab Emirates

Try googling and try the search box on the upper right hands side of this page.
