which embassy is handling your case?

This is handled by Montreal for us

Here is Packet 3 (which I've read through):

This indicates that we will receive instruction on the medical exam in Packet 4, linked below..

https://ca.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/27/2016/07/Packet3Instructions-K1.pdf

Here is Packet 4 (which I've read through and supposedly has the medical info):

https://ca.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/27/2016/03/Packet4-MTL.pdf

This packet says you should follow this link here for medical information, which is dead:

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant‐process/interview/prepare/medical‐examination.html

The bottom of the packet lists physicians in only 3 provinces, none of which are remotely close to FH..

I suppose it's just going to have to be a call to the embassy for us and hope they pick up. Every time FH has tried, they hung up on him immediately or something..

I must admit I'm a bit jealous/frustrated that so many with NOA2 dates up to a week after mine have a case number. It feels more personal than the USCIS process because our paperwork all came from the same place and one would think NVC does the same thing with every case: assigns it a case number and sends it to the embassy.  Maybe it's slower to get a case number for the electronic group, I'm guessing?

Things really are moving quickly for you! I wish things could be as quick for the UK... But still, I'm just happy to be finally nearing the end of this K-1 stage.

Are you having to wait long for a medical/interview appointment? It's going to be over before you know it 🙏 The Swedish embassy is closed all of next week for Easter. A bit of a bummer, but maybe we'll have some update the week after!
