That's good to hear! I also PM'd a Turkish filer and she said there were interviews 1 week out! I hear there are a surprising number of Turks in South America. Our wedding is on Sept. 29 (but we'll legally get married sooner so he can get work auth ASAP!)

Ah nice! Why the rush for April if you don't mind me asking?

At this point it looks like we might as well wait for our wedding to get legally married. I originally thought he'd have POE by like February at the latest and then we would have gotten legally married much earlier. I actually hope my Brazilian project works out since it makes it seem like some fated purpose behind our NOA2 taking so long. haha.

Hi everyone:

Well, I just literally called the NVC, Monday 3/12/2018 and it was my first time. I waited just a few minutes. It was 6:35pm EST. The agent i talked to said: asked for receipt number first from USCIS: the notice day and then...: It could take several weeks to get your file in our system. The NVC will be in contact with you.  I will try to call again this week :D

Has any one noticed any trends in countries receiving NOA2s in batches?  It just seems so odd to me that 3 Turkish petitions received NOA2 within days of each other considering it looks like there's been ~20 Turkish VJ profiles in the last year! I know many people say that the country doesn't matter, but that seems like a pretty big coincidence.

me: NOA1 6/12/17; NOA2 3/1/18

@turkishdelight: NOA1: 8/24/17 NOA1 ; NOA2: 3/2/18

@Elif: NOA1: 7/24/17; NOA: 3/7/18

Hmmm that is strange, honestly they probably do organize them by country for background/security checks etc.

Personally, I think it's just a coincidence! Thoughts, @Naes ?

FWIW I checked the number of K-1 visas they approve from Turkey on the DOS website a while ago and it looks to be around 10 a month.
