We are paying the visa fee today and they will get the passport photos too.  There are actually many interview openings for the week that I already scheduled a visit.  I may be able to be there for the interview.  Late April or early May looks like a possibility!  Maybe they can be here for my daughter's high school graduation!

I saw that you can schedule as early as April 3. I'm glad there is not much wait here in PI to schedule for an interview. I check every now and then (even if we are still waiting for NOA2) and its usually just a week or two to set for the earliest possible schedule.  So excited for you guys <3 <3 <3

Sorry if this has already been asked but I can’t see it on the thread. Our I-129f was approved by mail on 20.03, I just want to confirm that the NVC send out a case number or do you have to call to receive it?

Also when the nvc send the case to the US embassy is the interview set before I apply for the visa?

Thank you in advance and again sorry if this has already been answered

I would definitely go if you can go if I were you. I went for my wife's interview and everything went good. It help calm her mind a bit that I was there with her.

It does seem like that is a great possibility.  Rose tried to pay the visa fee yesterday and guess what...the PLDT line went down and the bank was offline!  Who would have imagined that the internet would fail there?

That's like trying to order a new PSA BC from overseas. It lets you fill out all the information but as soon as you go to try to make a payment it's down and has been that way for months now. But they are diligently working on that issue.

Well, the Filipino schedule is just a little different than the US schedule.  They can never be late if they never say when they will be done.

Yeah I know right and they actually have a name for it: Juan Time. That means that they won't be ON TIME but they will be JUAN TIME. So make sure she gets extra things like birth certificates for her and the kids.

Hi all, happy almost Friday!  Question - did you have to submit your email addresses again to NVC, or do they already have that info from the I-129 documents? I submitted the email form back then but not sure if everything rolls over to NVC

I believe she has the long form PSA birth certificates, police certificates, annulment and divorce paperwork, copies of the passport bio pages, my tax returns...  I think we are OK but there is always that blinking light in the back of my head making me think we are missing something.

That is a great question.  I have had updates without notice from NVC but I am also listed as "RFE response received" at USCIS...  LOL

It was like that with me as well don't worry. Just make a list of everything you need then once that is done check off what you have. Once that list is checked off complete you will make yourself feel better.
