Congratulations :jest: It's an awesome feeling! I wish you all the best and a lot of strength in the coming month. It's super tough to say goodbye to family and friends but you can always always reach out to us here on VJ who're going through the exact same things. :)

Thank you!!!! Yeah it’s gonna be soooo hard lol. Nice to be around people who are going through the same!

Did anyone else get emotional when them or their fiancé got accepted?! Because the second my fiancé got approved he came up to give me a big kiss and I couldn't help but tear up! We have worked so hard for this!

hey VJers I got a question.. I was just at the social security administration (SSA) to check about my social security number.. I already have one from my time as au pair a couple years ago.. but my fiancees bank was giving us a hard time for me to be added since they weren't sure if my SSN was still valid..

the guy at SSA said no everything looks fine and that I have to change my name after the marriage.. now what he also told me was that apparently I am allowed to work with my K1 as I got a "temporary employment authorized" in the SAVE system.. did this happen to anyone else? I thought I have to apply for the employment authorization with the AOS..

Hi guys, haven't posted here on so long, we got our interview on may 30th, super easy, 5 minutes and a few questions after we got approved. Now we are issued and just waiting to receive the email allowing me to schedule the passport pick up. Hope to POE still this week, we couldn't be more excited! I'm happy to see that everyone is moving smooth too!

@Naes as you helped everyone so much, can I ask if you got yours?

Happy Monday all!  Popping in to report that we got our Packet 3, finally!

Medical/police cert are done and now it's full steam ahead to the interview in 2 weeks!  I'm sending a fresh i134, letter of intent, and bank statements since the last set was current as of 3/1.

I heard that the time from approval to visa in hand seemed to be lagging at Ghana - looks like 2 weeks to a month, but we can't worry about that yet.

Hoping for progress for everyone, and I can't wait to report back with some happy news!

We had our interview on June 11 and they gave my fiance a slip asking for form I-864 even though i had sent him form I-134 for affidavit of support they didn't look at it. Now when I am trying to upload the documents on Ceac.state website it doesnt give any options where to upload it. If anyone knows anything i would greatly appreciate the help i don't know if I have to wait a couple of days before I can do it.
