Guys... should I book my interview today? I had a medical yesterday and I'll have the second one tomorrow. The doc is giving me the envelope and I have to bring it to the embassy with me, nothing will be sent through him. I looked on my embassy's website and the earliest date they have is next tuesday. I so badly want to book it, but in the letter they said to only book once you have everything and I'm scared that maybe not everything will be ready and the doc will ask me to come back next week and then I would have to reschedule my embassy appointment, which they don't like. But I just don't want to waist anymore days, ugh

Congratulations 🎉 Ours took about 10 days to get to issued but we had the bank holiday in the middle so you might be closer to a week. Then the passport was sent out on a Friday so didn’t get it back from the courier till Tuesday!!

Hello! We also have good news - we were approved on Friday 5/18 at the interview and I just checked the CEAC status this morning and it says issued.

Do you mean it took 10 days for your status to change to 'Issued' or to physically receive the passport back, etc? Just wondering how long ours might take to be in hand. :)

It took 10 days to get to issues and then about 4 days to get to us as we hit the bank holiday - otherwise it would have been sooner! It will be with you before you know it!!

Hey guys..

My passport came in the name today and the visa is inside, yay!

BUT.. Her name has a spelling mistake in it where it says Petitioner: NAME

Is this important? Do I need to get this fixed? Or does only my name matter?

Hi Guys,

After the interview (K-1 visa) for this whole time I was able to check the status of my app under IV section with a case number given by nvc after being on AP. However since mid afternoon today, the page would just keep loading. I thought the website was down or something but never saw any message like that on their website. But now, just randomly I tried the NIV section with the DS-160 confirmation number and it shows me the update with my case created and updated as today’s date. What does this mean? 🤷‍♂️ It moved from IV section to NIV section with a brand new creation date instead of one created by nvc.

That’s usually good movement... mine changed to NIV with new case created date yesterday before going to issued.

However I did not need to change anything I still search under immigrant but it just shows nonimmigrant on the update automatically.

did you resolve the problem? Maybe they finally approved it?

edit: just checked and yes it shows issued under non immigrant with ds-160 conf. Number too.

@Naes That’s the thing, I heard that it moves from Immigrant to Non-Immigrant but I can’t even access under immigrant right now. I was able to do that this morning but around noon in my country, the webpage keeps loading under IV. It’s confusing tho. Maybe tomorrow I’ll know what it means. This could be embassy specific?
