I am self-employed as the petitioner with my income meeting the appropiate guidelines. Do you think self employed or employed matters for the interviewer when he or she looks at the affidavit of support? They should just look at my tax returns and sufficient income, right? :)

Thank you @LizM and @Kswtangel:D

Yes, I am officially Miss K now! yaaaaaaayyyyy

it was sooo beautifullll, this is the park we picked and did it:

the last days have been crazy - and all i can say: the K1 isn't over yet hahahaha

everything is sooo hard to get (at least in georgia)! getting a title and tag for the car is only possible if you have the

georgia Driving Licence, so that you only get if XYZ, and that you can't get because XXYZ! it's a neverending running

around thing now haha

for the first time i said today that i was thankful, that i don't have a work permit yet and can't work! there is no way

on earth that a normal person with a regular job is able to run around like that hahaha

That’s gorgeous! I used to go to Savannah for rugby tournaments and the parks were so beautiful and romantic.  Also not looking forward to the runaround - hopefully we can go to social security just once to get him straightened out and change my name! I have to look more into that. As of now I can’t see past the interview! Congrats Mrs!

When is your interview? I don't think the I-134 counts as complete unless the sponsor signed it as a sponsor. If your interview is soon then have him sign the preparer's box and scan the page and send it to you. If they ask for original at the interview, you will get a chance to supply them with the original afterwards. But there's a new policy out saying scanned signatures are OK so I think you're good with that actually. Keep us updated!

Luckily (kinda) my interview hasn't been scheduled yet, but it'll probably be in two weeks if everything goes right. My fiancé decided to send me the new papers before your reply, but the cost is ridiculous for priority mail. Literally the most expensive piece of paper ever! Thank you for your reply though, it means a lot. Especially in these times, it seems the closer we get to VOH the more stressed out we get.

Does anyone what it means when you're not denied or approved and the officer just says they'll contact my fiancé for more information? Cause that's where we're at! He wasn't given a 221g which I thought signifies AP?

OMG i m sorry for you guys but i think it's fine since this happen only for more information, you should ask your fiancé if they asked him for some documents that he don't have it

I called. They said it's under consulate review meaning the interviewing officer is just going over the info again. The officer didn't even ask for any documents what so ever. Not even pictures. I just don't get it but it's not in AP and it's not denied so it's not over til it's over and I came into this with an open mind knowing K1 in Morocco was hard. Praying now.

everything would be fine since it's didn't denied i m so sure you will hear something next week i m praying for you :)

After such a LOOOOOONG wait, our case was FINALLY fixed by the NVC and it is in transit.  It was pending to send since April 23rd.

Apparently there was a bug in their system.  They just recently added K1's to their internal processing system that they use for other visa types, and K1s weren't sending correctly to the consulates that use this newer system.  After weeks of calling, they finally acknowledged that there was a problem on May 10th, and told us that it was fixed.  They said our case should send either the 10th or 11th, but it still didn't send.  They had to open an IT support ticket internally to have them fix something, again.  It's been so stressful, because we see other cases being processed and sent, and then they get interview dates, while we wonder what is wrong with our case and if it will send at all.  What a relief to see the In Transit email and confirm it on the website.

This was supposed to be the easy and quick stage of the process, but it felt like an eternity.  Here's hoping that the interview schedule isn't full once the consulate marks it ready.
