Hi guys, my fiance sent me the affidavit of support and he signed the page 5 but he forgot to sign the additional information page (last one), do you believe it could be a scan signature in the last page?

Uhm, guys, can anyone please help me, my fiancé sent me the I-134, but signed the preparers box instead of the sponsors box, do you think this will be a problem at the embassy? I repeated myself a million times, to read it properly and stuff, but mistakes happen. So any advice? Low key panicking...

Don’t have the affidavit in front of me right now, but my fiancé only signed one page where he promised he had filled out everything truthfully etc. Don’t remember any additional information page?

Hi liz, there was one tricky question, if I remember correctly was 28, that the petitioner had to add that he is fully responsible for the beneficiary. And this goes in the additional info page. We had one all filled up , but he got promoted and we did it again, but he forgot to sign that page

Medical isn't as bad as people say in the USA. Once you're married, you can get put on your spouses coverage. Maybe there's a small copay but the insurance will normally cover between 80-100% of everything else.

It might not be "as bad as people say", but it's still really bad compared to what I'm used to.. I can just go see a doctor for free when I'm sick and I get xrays etc for free. Meanwhile my fiance had to pay $1100 from her insurance savings when she had to get an xray :/

You can do all of the above for free at a hospital. They never turn anyone away and if you can't afford the bill, they have charity forms to fill out. Usually catholic charities that want to see you can't afford the bill and they'll cover it. An X-ray is 25$ - not sure where 1100 comes from. The one thing that blows my mind is the amount of complaints about our system and our healthcare... so why come here? Not directed at you but healthcare is just fine here for many people. You'll be ok.

i would like to know how much your Fiance paid for medical analyzes like total fees

$1100 seems very excessive for an x-ray.... but your fiancée might have what they call a high deductible plan were they pay a higher cost for actually service and a really low premium.  Cost of service is based on the actually insurance plan so that is something that can be changed to adapt to your needs when he adds you to his plan.

Well that does depend a bit on your spouses plan! My heath insurance has ridiculous co pays!

Yeah my current plan has no copays but next year it will. Roughly 40 to see a specialist but I rather pay 40 than 2000 for an mri. Lol. I just don't get people and their complaints - I'm sorry I really don't. My biggest concern is bringing my fiancé here and we will deal with whatever comes our way. I work in the medical field so I know a lot about healthcare and ways around cheap healthcare without Medicaid. There are just a lot of options people can explore . All I know is our interview is tomorrow and I'm 5 seconds away from an anxiety attack. So I apologize if this post comes off as snippy.

No worries! Take a deep breath - you got this! I think its interesting for me coming from the UK originally and the national health service.  for example my mom has just spent 5 weeks in the ICU at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after her brain heamorage . That place is STATE OF THE ART!!!!! and my family hasn't had to pay anything. But I made the choice to live here 25 years ago and so I deal with health insurance.  Sending good luck and keeping everything crossed for you for tomorrow xxx

Thank you so much. I had Spa services planned but then the hotel we had booked is under renovation for the Spa! I will just order breakfast in bed and breathe through a paper bag until he comes back. He isn't taking his phone. We were mixed on whether you could or not at this consulate and most just say don't bother, it's an added step to check it and pick up when you're leaving. Deep breath! It's only 7:30 pm here and I'm already ready to go to sleep lol

Best of luck with the interview tomorrow.

the last days have been crazy - and all i can say: the K1 isn't over yet hahahaha

everything is sooo hard to get (at least in georgia)! getting a title and tag for the car is only possible if you have the

georgia Driving Licence, so that you only get if XYZ, and that you can't get because XXYZ! it's a neverending running

around thing now haha

for the first time i said today that i was thankful, that i don't have a work permit yet and can't work! there is no way

on earth that a normal person with a regular job is able to run around like that hahaha

Oh yay, congratulations love!!  How beautiful it must’ve been.     I’m sorry you’re having so much trouble getting everything you need though.  Nothing like government red tape to drive you mad.  :bonk:   But at least you have your HUSBAND there to help keep you sane.  Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?  :D  Hopefully things will sort out and settle down soon and you can really start to enjoy your new life as the new Mrs!
