Once you get a case number, you can fill out the DS 160 online. Print the confirmation page for this once completed.

Once it says "Ready" that means you email the consulate and request an interview. Include your name, fiancés name, case number and that you're looking to schedule a K1 Fiance Visa interview. I heard they'll email you back within 2 weeks or so but I heard back the same day I sent the email.

When they email you back they'll tell you when your appointment is. Attached will be packet 3. Includes a list of doctors to choose from for the medical , your rights and your appointment letter. At that point - just get your papers together. My fiancé Got his police records in a week. Court records same day. Celabecy letter same day. And birth cert in the same day. Once he had them, he dropped them off to be translated. Picked them up in a week. Already you're at 2 weeks for gathering the fiancés paperwork. On top of that make sure yourfiance sends you their documents (I-134, proof of relationship, taxes, pay stubs, letter from employer, updated letter of intent..) watch a YouTube video of how people put their documents together and Good luck... I asked for help on here from some awesome couples and now that I'm at the finish line, I'm glad I could offer help as well... but if your attitude is you'll just sit and wait well then I don't know because we've rushed quite a few things and God for big a hiccup happens along the way... leave time for the hiccups before the interview

awe thank you, i didn't know all those steps i wish you good luck guys with interview :)

My lovely fiance had his Medical today. Literally took ALL day. The doctor was super nice but when he went there, he basically gave him a script for the Chest X-ray, and for blood work so he had to go to two separate places and then wait for the results. Long story short, a few hours later he went back and picked up all of the results, was given 2 or 3 shots, I don't remember and he was sent off with "everything is okay" (With the records in hand, no waiting needed) lol yay! Next stop: Interview next week!!!!

CFO and Medical you won't be able to attend but the interview you will be able to. Keep in mind the CO may let you stay at the window or he/she may ask you to take a seat. That's how it rolls in the Philippines.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! How soon can you get an interview?

I’m not sure yet! I’ve gotta do the DS-160 form first and I’m a lil busy today! I’ll let you know a little later (5ish hours!) I believe the earliest date atm though is June 10th ish, but I could be wrong as I’ve not seen them myself

WE WERE APPROVED!

medical results pending arrival to embassy, but other than that, we are GOLDEN!!!

embassy said ~2 weeks until his visa packet arrives at home.

Congratulations!!!!!! Our interview date is May 18th and I'm flying to London to be there.

Did you or any other UK applicants receive anything in the mail after the case arrived at the embassy and turned 'Ready' on CEAC? I just want to make sure we're not missing anything but it seems other embassies have packet 3/4 but that doesn't apply to us right?

Thank you, and good luck! My fiancé said it was a breeze.

My fiancé received a copy of our I-129F packet and a pamphlet about his rights in the US about a week or 2 after our status was "Ready" on CEAC. But it's not necessary for the interview. It's for the beneficiary's benefit. He received some emails as well, I think. But all you need is the DS-160, Instructions Page, and the other documents from the embassy website. He said that they only needed about 40% of what he took with him.

There is a chance that the medical may not have arrived from Knightsbridge yet (I guess they're hit or miss on their timeliness), but that is absolutely fine. According to the official at the embassy, the delay with my fiancé's medical should be resolved this week, and issued next week.

Do you think we should just bring photos from the last maybe 2-3 trips? I know I submitted pictures from the first 1-3 trips with the 129f, and originally we had such a hard time picking a few out of like 7000 on my phone. Literally. so we narrowed it down to 20. but I'm trying to narrow it down to 10 tops. What do you think?

I'm sorry, I wasn't coming to visa journey in the last few days. I would focus only on trips in between September and now, I got just 10 pics, me and him, is and family/friends, in famous places to prove the city and that is it. Hope I could help, even this late ;)
