@NICK & PAULA Hi girly, just wanted to let you know that I’m thinking of you and hoping/praying/crossing finger and toes that you hear something from your embassy soon!  I keep checking your profile for an update.  I’m still waiting for my case to be received at NVC myself.  :clock:  I know this process can be torture at times but we’re almost through it!  Sending love and well wishes to you sweet girl.

Pretty girl! Thank you so much. Unfortunately, I still didn't receive my packet 3 from the embassy. It's been a month since my status were ready. So I decided to go ahead and tried if I can get an appointment for interview even without packet 3. The website let me pay for the MRV fee so I took June 7th as my interview date because MAY 2018 is already full. Ugh! Wasted a month waiting for packet 3. I'm gonna go ahead and attend my interview even without the appointment letter. Let's see if they'll throw me out. hehehe!

Hello, my fiance and I just got approved recently, we are happy to join this thread. As, I know the next steps are to prepare the necessary documents for his interview. We are having my brother fill the i-134f as well as myself since he has a stable set employer. My fiance and I are self employed. We want to show the cosulate that we have well rounded income. Is this correct? For a co-sponsor, which form or forms should be filled and which documents should be provided. Thanks. :)

If you have documentation (tax returns) that show you are above the poverty level for your family size then a co-sponsor is not needed.  It will be a waste of time because you pass the income test. If you decide you still want to go with the co-sponsor then petitioner completes the I-134 https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 and the Co-sponsor completes the I-864 https://www.uscis.gov/i-864. All the information to complete both documents are located at the links.

A long time lurker here - VJ has been a fantastic source of information and reading through the forums has answered all of the questions I have had through the process to date. My fiancée and I are having some confusion with the ustraveldocs registration. She previously applied for a B2 visa while living in Panama and we are updating her ustraveldocs profile for her current K1 application (she now lives in China and is applying through the Guangzhou consulate). Based on item 2 from the attached screenshot, she should update the DS-160 barcode information to match the K1 application. However, we can't see anywhere to put her or her daughter's new DS-160 application barcode numbers on the ustraveldocs profile (they will be travelling to the US at the same time). Would anyone be able to provide some guidance on where this information is input on the profile?

The way I understand the instructions is you create a new ustraveldocs profile for the K-1 then attach the DS-160 to that visa.

Hi guys! I need  a bit of your help.

My interview is on Thursday, May 10th. I just happened to check my ceac status (I better didn't), and it shows Administrative Processing with the last case update on May 4th. Why is there AP before the interview? Are we gonna be in troubles? From what I have read, AP happenes after the interview. I'm just freaking out here

There are no packets 3&4 in Moscow, but they require scans of some documents for pre-check, I sent them about month ago and received an email confirming that they have them and will contact me if they need anything else. The status was "ready" before.

Then don't worry or think about it as it isnt something you can change.

You contacted the embassy, they sent you an email, and if by your embassy rules it was ok to schedule interview it is no problem.

If you should have waited for the interview for them to tell you something that could be a problem though. why don't you contact them and ask about the status change?

I'm just worried that it was caused by something that could lead to denial. But I can't really think of anything that would.

I'm going to contact them, but I'm almost 100% sure I'll get some blanket response. I asked here because I thought somebody might have had this before the interview and have no troubles later.

Yeah, I tried to find something on vj and google before, but nothing really came up, they are mostly about ap after the interview. Well we have a chat with girls who have their interview in Moscow about the same dates that I have, and one of them also has ap as status, her interview is on the 8th..
