I'm so confused once again lol On the bottom of the checklist for my embassy it says

Quote

On the appointment day please bring the following items:

- Visa fee (for immigrant visa applicants ONLY)

- Your current valid passport

It doesn't say anything about proof of relationship, tax returns etc, which everyone else is talking about on here..

wait no you’re right this is confusing... maybe you send them beforehand?

..

it says, for fiancé visa cases, once they receive your documents they will review and give you an interview date. (God this is confusing...)

read the first page: it says obtain all these documents and send them by regular mail. :)

Haha, at least I'm not the only one! I sent all the files that are on the list already by mail.. So basically I just drive to the Interview to give them my passport, talk to them for 5 minutes and then I'm hopefully done? what a waste of 4 hours driving LOL anything to be with my love I guess...  :jest:

Thanks again for your help, dear.

In my case, they wanted all items on the checklist, and for evidence of support that meant the I-134, tax return (1040, only the two first pages), and employer's statement. For evidence of relationship, they took the pictures I brought from the four last times we met (two pictures for each trip/visit), a copy of some chats from Facebook messenger, and plane tickets for both me and my fiancé from our trip about a month ago. So they pick and choose what they want. In my case, the seemed to focus on reconciling the income in line 22 in the 1040 with the income stated in the I-134. So if there's a difference between the two, bring support as to why. Relationship evidence will vary for everyone but they seemed happy with the fact that I heavily focused on the time that's passed between the I-129F filing and now. Good luck :)

Good to know, I'll check these things about the i-134, but I think we are fine. And I did the same about pictures of evidence, just of our travels between September and now. To get our chats and I don't even know how to start, we talk every day all the time  thanks!!

so awesome to come on here and see all the great news! congratulations everyone who has moved forward in this process :)

i moved my flight up to may 9th to see my fiance in morocco. his medical is 2 days prior on the 7th so hes in route this weekend to casablanca :) and he'll stay there until i arrive.

seeing all of the approvals makes me happy. now i'll just pray that we get approved as well. i can't stop running through all the paperwork and i think i should stop bc its making me crazy.

since i'm flying there i was able to print updated pay stubs and get a new updated letter from employer since i had mailed it out to him the end of march. phew, deep breath...

Phew!
Deep breaths indeed! lol
Wishing you and ur fiance a successful interview. Stay calm- you made it this far!

You will be just fine love. Take that deep breath and then a few more! I was a basket case for a good week before Stuart had his interview but it was all good and very quick. Keeping my fingers gets crossed for you xxx

A long time lurker here - VJ has been a fantastic source of information and reading through the forums has answered all of the questions I have had through the process to date. My fiancée and I are having some confusion with the ustraveldocs registration. She previously applied for a B2 visa while living in Panama and we are updating her ustraveldocs profile for her current K1 application (she now lives in China and is applying through the Guangzhou consulate). Based on item 2 from the attached screenshot, she should update the DS-160 barcode information to match the K1 application. However, we can't see anywhere to put her or her daughter's new DS-160 application barcode numbers on the ustraveldocs profile (they will be travelling to the US at the same time). Would anyone be able to provide some guidance on where this information is input on the profile?

Yay, that’s so soon! And you get to go back to Morocco, nice! Will you stay until he gets the visa, and come back together?

I’ve been thinking of sucking it up and sending over new paperwork. The stuff he has will be almost 4 months old by then...

So I already received an answer (wow!) and they told me you really don't need to bring anything else. Germany seems to be an easy consulate. YAY. :jest:

Hello, my fiance and I just got approved recently, we are happy to join this thread. As, I know the next steps are to prepare the necessary documents for his interview. We are having my brother fill the i-134f as well as myself since he has a stable set employer. My fiance and I are self employed. We want to show the cosulate that we have well rounded income. Is this correct? For a co-sponsor, which form or forms should be filled and which documents should be provided. Thanks. :)

I have the same issue with mine but don't know how to go about it. Anyone that has been in the same situation and has done the interview should please help out
