Congratulations !!! you can plan an interview, the status "ready" is enough, also do not forget about the medical examination it is needed for interview at the embassy.

LOL  This is getting ridiculous.  I need to supply certified records of the arrest and court documents.  The problem is I was expunged and both the arresting police department and the county clerk have told me that there is no way to get certified copies of files that no longer exist.  As far as the circuit court and police are concerned, all copies of those reports have been shredded and are simply not available.  I may be able to get photo copies from my lawyer but those cannot be certified.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I know right now it doesn't seem like good news but from the outside looking in i would say its better than veing told DENIED at least you have a chance to get it right as frustrating as it may be maybe you can get a signed notarized paper stating there are no original documents anymore from the clerk of court along with the photocopied version

We were denied.  I have to start over from scratch on the K-1.  I have the expungement letter from the court and police department and both say that all copies have been shredded or erased.

Does anyone of you have to bring over a computer? How do you do it? Do you bring it in carry on? Lagguage? Send it via mail?

I'm planning on just taking the parts into my carry on and buying a pc tower case over there... but don't know if that's the best option.
