Thanks dear for updating :)

it really is a shame i wasn't aware you are soo close and that i didn't mention before like that :(

but, since we got direct flights - maybe we'll make it happen some other time!!!

It was sooo sadddd I cant even tell you!!!! :( i think i cried so much, my eyes looked like somebody beat me up lol

thank god for waterproof mascara! ALL LADIES: please remember to use one before you start your goodbyes!!!!

Thank you dear :)

Now let me tell you all about that POE:

QUICK & EASY!!! I landed in Philly and walked to the customs, and they sent me to one line that was for visitors and visas.

i was literally the second person in that specific line and was talking to the officer lady 2 min later! she asked me when we get married

and i said in about 2 weeks, and bigger wedding to follow in october with family and friends.

she then took all documents and brought me to this waiting room. there were about 20 - 25 other people sitting so i figured that'll be a

loooooong wait. there was a big clock so i saw i entered at 16:30 (let me count 5 min before when i talked to the other officer and waiting time,

so let's say 16:25 is the start).

there were 4 officers working on things, and about 5 min later one of them called my name :)

she asked me first to verify my full name (as she had the passport and docs) and then she asked about my fiance's name and birthday and address.

she then entered some data in the system, asked me if i have been in the US before, asked if I was in Georgia before and typed some more stuff

on her computer. Then she asked me when we'll get married and if I was aware that we have to get married in within 90 days and file for

the adjustment too. I said yes and she said "ok, welcome to the united states" and gave me my passport and the CD with the x-rays back and

said i'll have to hand to my doctors here.

I checked the time and it was 16:40!!!

So my entire POE took 15 min and sadly - i had a 5 hour layover as I figured it may take 1-2 hours

And let me tell you: landing in Savannah and having my boo pick me up, was AMAZING :D especially when

he said "welcome home baby" i was soooo happy!!!! <3

My heart is melting. A happy ending!!! Enjoy your wonderful new life in America!!! Aaaaaah!

Good day everyone.

Question,  my case is on its way to London.  My medical is booked.

I filled the Ds-160 out and on ceac it says in transit to london.

Can i book my interview slot now or do i have to wait until London receive my case?

Our case just seems to be slow moving all over.

Thanks in advance

For London, you are able to book your interview now.  Just make sure to schedule it at least 5 business days after your medical so that Knightsbridge gets the records sent over in time.   :)

I’m the petitioner - I’d love dual citizenship, but it’s low on the to-do list for now. You can do a lot in Ghana as a foreigner, especially as an African diasporan. My Twi is coming along kakra kakra (small small), haha. I’ve gotten a few audio lessons and do what I can with apps and things. My goal would be to practice daily to help retain it, but life gets in the way! What about you, are you learning your fiancé’s language?

Yeah i understand its not of importance right now, however its def something I would be looking forward toO lol. I was actually trying to learn twi my dad says we have roots there, the Ashanti tribe. I am trying to learn his language because once we start having babies they will not all be speaking a language I don't understand, I refuse :jest:. But we try a little here and there but once he is here it will be easier to learn. He was strict on me learning when I was there.

Love knows no reason,no boundaries,no distance .It has a sole intention of bringing people together to a time called FOREVER!!!!!!!!
