Just praying :) My nerves were so shot, I turned off all notifications for this website and utilized the "Ignored Users" button. Feels absolutely breath taking! :jest: Now it's just a waiting game.. I fly out in less than 2 weeks inshallah and I just can't waitttttt to see my fiance. i honestly think people are waiting for their case to be received after that one guy at the NVC told me that the USCIS played catch up and dumped truck loads of applications.. plus it's the vacation time of year and I think and i'll pray for you that window should open up any day because no one really travels the first week in may. thats why airlines are so cheap!!

I’ve had notifications on my email for the September forum and I’ve tried and tried and tried to turn it off, but it won’t let me. Says I’m not following / receiving notifications for any forum but I still get emails. No bueno! Haha!

Ahhhhh I’m so excited! Have you / he started packing up to leave yet?

Ahh maybe! they gotta get a chip chop on it.... sick of waiting! I wanna book mine and be looking forward to that date!

Yeah thats so true! Be just my luck I’ll get a June interview and then that’s the most expensive time to fly. 😂 worth it though! Least it’s only half the price because it’s 1 way 😏

Finally got my NVC case number today after 29 days but the website says "Your search did not return any data" 😞

Do they take a while to add the case to the tracker or am I in back luck? I double checked the number with the person on the phone so I don't think I've got it wrong.

I tried both actually. I tried replacing the last 3 numbers to 001 (that means the first case of the day) and it doesn't work either, I guess they haven't added the cases from yesterday to the website yet.

Same thing is happening to a number of us who just received our case numbers.  Consensus is that it takes a while to load into the online system.  I received my case number yesterday and it’s still not showing up yet.  Try in a few hours or tomorrow would be my suggestion.  But congratulations on getting your case number! :)

When you try to trick the system and save yourself some money by uploading a selfie for the DS-160, haha

It didn't work, guess I'll have to go to a real photographer, but hey at least I tried :D

Any time I vacation, I fly out the first week in May. I've gone to FL round trip for like 80-150$ I think Sky Scanner helped with that because I always pick my trips based on when/where I can go for the cheapest. my ticket to see my fiance unfortunately was 960$ Round trip, but I guess the plus side is I'm going direct. We are already anticipating an expensive flight for my fiance because I told him to just come direct and it's 700$ one way. I'm just like its worth it to be here in 6 hours, rather than 13 and having to stop in paris or portugal for 2-3 hours. I'm just so nervous. I don't understand why I am the one nervous and not him!!

i don't remember how I turned off notifications. i'm only on now because im at work and have it open on my desktop. :) hopefully you'll hear something by next week.

Yeah FL from macarthur is soooooo cheap!!! We couldn’t believe it! I always use sky scanner as well, going incognito! Usually find ours from UK - NY for around $400-600 which isn’t bad. From Jfk-man it’s a lot more expensive, sometimes $1200 round trip!!

its normal to be nervous, for both of you! I’m definitely more nervous than my fiancé is haha. Don’t be though, it’s gonna be amazing

I'm currently trying to book my airline ticket and I'm at a loss lol

The airline is asking me what my visa/citizenship is.. my options are

1) I am a US citizen

2) I have a permanent entrance allowance / alien registration card

3) I am visiting

4) I am in transit to another county

... so I guess I have to take 2, but they are asking me for a card number if I pick 2? What do I do?

/edit the A number on the approved I-129f is my alien registration number, right? so I should probably use that

Which airline?

i would call them to ask just in case (personally it sounds like 3 because of the options to me)
