sounds like a damn good system! my fiancé seems to think if he calls too often that they're gonna get mad at us  haha

Nope. They are aware this is normal. After 2 weeks I started calling twice a day.. while they say 6 weeks, they also already know something is weird when it’s longer than 2 weeks.

also there’s no record. And it’s almost always a different person on phone. I asked them if there’s an hour I should call instead they said not to worry. And I said: ok I’ll be calling twice a day then!

yeah! i guess 6 weeks is their protocol though so it doesn't bother me; however from the google doc i'm seeing from NOA2 - NVC receive / case number is taking anywhere from 10-35 days currently! hahah fair enough. i can just see my phone bill going through the roof now cause i won't stop :jest:  i do fear that the fact I did inquire about our case 9 days before it got approved that it could have delayed our process a little since they sent a response 5 days after NOA2? do you think thats a possibility?

just called and spoke to the sweetest lady who was extremely apologetic to the fact they hadn't gotten our case yet. she said "we should be receiving it very very soon.. i am so sorry!" which makes a change to all of the nasty workers we seem to always talk to.

Yes NVC is a pleasure to call. I wrote about my last call to NVC in April NVC topic if you want to check. I tried asking everything I can..

they are aware it is a little out of normal times but it is still out of their hand to do anything cause it is less than 6 weeks..

Hello everybody!

I am looking for some help! I am trying to book an interview date for my interview at the Dutch embassy. When I try to pay the visa application fee I can not click on anything anymore and it says: ''There are no available appointments at this time. Please check back in a few days as the Consular Section will open more appointments.''
Now I wonder if I am doing something wrong or if I just have to wait until they open op more appointments? Does anyone from the Netherlands have any experience with this?

Hopefully someone can help me!

Thanks!

Hello everyone first time writer but i have been silent reader for long time. I am having difficulty scheduling an interview with the local U.S. embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. i have called the local embassy and was told to email them which i did but the response i got was to wait for a while.
So far, i have completed and submitted DS-160 form and I have registered online (http://usvisa-info.com) and paid the applicable fee and got the payment confirmation via email and online. According to the instruction, the next step is to schedule an interview via online. However, it seems all the dates are grayed out and i am not able to select any date.I was wondering if anyone has the same issue before plzzzz i am freaking out it has been two weeks since i paid the fee but i couldn't schedule. Am i missing something here?
 Help plz

Soo.. My medical is on the second of may. How much time do you think should be between the medical and the interview? 2 weeks? I don't want to schedule it too tight.

this is exactly the same as what London is saying right now. Can't pay fee as there aren't any appointments. Most likely wait till the 1st may and more appointments will be avaliable

I am getting the same message. Do you think this means there are no May appointments available and they will release June on May 1st?
