Lucky you!! We're still waiting for our number at 19 days. Did they mention that your case is electronic? @Jessica829 mentioned that maybe the non-electronic cases receive case numbers faster.

I'm not going to call until tomorrow either. Our odds of good news are higher if we call fewer times, right? :jest:

Nope, no case number assigned yet.:( I just called and the lady with a monotonous voice said that it'll take 8 weeks to assign a case number. I'm gonna call again tomorrow. :jest:

P.S: When I called, I pressed option 7 first but the person who answered said I should press option 5 so I did. Will try again tomorrow.

That means your case is electronic which might mean it takes a bit longer to get a case number but then it goes to the embassy faster. :)

I seriously doubt it! I just pulled the NOA2>NVC left numbers from the spreadsheet, and sorted the cases by their NVC left date. The average number of days from NOA2>NVC left since Feb. 1 is about 25 days. That average goes down to 23 days if I'm just looking at cases that have left NVC since March 1.

So you can almost safely assume that your embassy should have your case 3-4 weeks after your NOA2 date.
