The traffic did delay him a hour - he got there a little after 9 am his time.

Just waiting to hear back from him on his experience.

I sucks that they don't do the medical in Montego Bay anymore, but happy he made it on time (relative).

Anybody here who got there case number who’s notice approval is March 29? Got approved online march 30 but on the paper its March 29 and NVC didnt receive our case yet. Just called earlier.

In the same boat. Just called and still not received. They did confirm an email will be sent to both applicant and petitioner ,as long as you provided them on the I-129f application, once the case number is generated and sent to the embassy.

My NOA2 was March 29th.

Mine was received April 16th, and case number was given the same day. Still at NVC, not in transit yet.

Yay! Congratulations! We're also looking forward on having our interview scheduled before the end of May and I will surely be there with the Fiancé from medical to VOH, hopefully! Did they ask for affidavit of support?  With the Filipino CO what requirements did they ask?

No financials. No proof of relationship. The Filipino asked the generic questions.  Where did you meet? How many visits? Ever visit other countries?  He took all the paperwork. Very efficient and straight forward with us. He was a bit meaner to the older woman at his window before us. She was so nervous that she was overthinking her answers. He asked her if she wanted an interpreter and she said (in English) “Yes. I am Visayan and don’t understand Tagalog”. The CO in a very direct way asked her if she speaks English. She said yes and he explained to her that she may be able to get a English speaking CO at the American Embassy. He was a little frustrated with her.

He was nice to us and even asked Rose to sing (kiddingly) since that was her job in Korea.

He he found the spelling error in Rose’s name and said they would need an NBI police cert with that AKA. After he stapled all the documents and put a rubber band around it we were sent to biometrics. It was all quick and very well organized. We didn’t need any paperwork outside of the medical reports,  divorce, annulment and police reports.

Asking for everyone to keep their thoughts and prayers for Reni as he journeys to Kingston as we speak to attend his medical exam. He's been on the road since 3am this morning (4am EST) as it is a 3-4 hour commute from his Parish which is on the west side of the island to Kingston which is on the southeast side of the island. His medical exam is scheduled for 8am and of course I've made sure he's ready to go!

I will share his experience later in the day after he completes his medical exam.

Things will go quite fine, it the wait which is the stress!.

I just need to vent. I'm a nervous wreck my fiance has his medical exam this Friday and he leaves for senegal tomorrow we won't schedule our interview until Friday morning but ive been reading my countries forum and why oh why did i do that the little hope i did have has completely dissolved for every 100 or 200 applicants 1 is approved ( obviously im exaggerating) but it completely stripped my hope i apologize i dont want to bring anyone down i just needed to vent for a second congratulations to everyone approved and those still waiting i think i need to get off of this site at least until this process is over so i can keep my last bit of sanity i have many blessings and positive vibes to everyone and i hope i receive them in return

(L) Aww! I totally get it. I’ve even taken a break from the forums since I just can’t believe we’ve come this far to be stuck waiting for appointment availability to open up! But I totally agree with @h&y - that’s what we have to go through when dealing with high fraud countries. I see success stories from low-fraud countries and I think “why, why, whyyyyyyy does it have to be this way??!?” But it is what it is, and it will dirt itself out! Even if it takes longer or a little more drama 🤬. Feel free to pm for more venting!

If you carry your medical records to the interview then yes, close scheduling to the interview is fine. But, if the medical examiner sends the file to the Embassy then you should schedule at least 2 weeks ahead of your interview giving time for it to arrive for your interview.

For the I-134. I make above the poverty line by a decent amount (about $50k a year). I've been paying off student loans and credit card debt pretty aggressively ever since I started working in July of 2017. I only have like $2k in the bank. Would that be a problem?
