Okay, sorry for the double post but somehow it won't let me edit it. Can someone tell me what kind of photograph I'm supposed to send with the application? I mean.. what size? Passport size? Or the original size that it tells me on the website? That is super huge lol. So am I supposed to go to the photographer and get new pictures in passport size or use the size (600x600px) that the website says?

Wow!  What an experience. The building is beautiful and they did hold our cell phones since I am a USC. I will do a full recap later.

They did did not ask for anything but the NBI, birth certificates, and marriage stuff. No proof of relationship, no financials...

Like I've said before, when you finish the interview you kinda walk away thinking that's all there is. I spent a year and ohdoodles of money for 5 min. :jest:  Congrats.

As we are all immigrating soon, I was wondering about the plane ticket. I was searching flights for June and I had way better deals on a round trip, but I'm not coming back (obv), and even better if it the next day. And some airlines could complain about the one way ticket if they don't understand what K1 visa means. So, there is any right answer here? Do this really matters?

Doesn't matter. I purchased three one way tickets with no issues in my wife's travels to USC. Don't buy a ticket till you have your visa and passport in hand. I have seen too many cases that were delayed and they had to reschedule their tickets at a heavy penalty. It never works out well.

Hey Guys,

https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx doesn't work for me.

Would this be because my case number was just assigned yesterday?  It could but I bet that you are selecting that it's a non-immigrant visa and actually till it get approved it's treated as a "immigrant" visa type.

Also, just to double check. The invoice number is only so you can reference your case before you get assigned a case number. After that it is unneeded, correct? It's not needed but always keep it handy in the event it's needed. You just never know with this process.

My fiancée is in Algeria, the ALG2018...... number that I received is my case number, correct? Yes that's the case number.

I had called Delta a short while back asking about if we book a flight and change it and the associated costs.  We then talked about the final flight being one way, and the ticketing agent said to book round trip and just don't use the second part of the ticket because one way tickets are way more expensive.

That's not necessary true. I have seen on way tickets cost less and I have seen round trip cost less. Just depends.

I'm kinda confused.. Our status has been ready for many days now and I don't know what to do next. I filled out DS-160 and registered on ustraveldocs.com and filled everything out and paid the fee.. And now I'm stuck on this screen and don't know what to do. Do I just wait? It's been stuck on the same thing for quite a while now.. :(

Screenshot_13.png

I'm confused to. You say you are waiting but the yellow box says they received everything and will contact you with your interview appointment.

To do next. That topic has been discussed so often with the same answer. Go to your Embassy website and read what the requirements are. Got to the blue ribbon on the top of this page and select "portals". Find Germany and it will take you to a wealth of information. You should be receiving Packet 3 soon from your Embassy. Ask others in the sub-forum for Germany. The link can be found on the blue ribbon under "forums". Go about three quarters the way down the page and you should see the sub-forums.

Goodmorning 😊 my medical is done! The only part that was not smooth was when the doctor tried to interpret my pediatrician’s handwriting. The pediatrician had used slashes that looked more like ones, so it took some time to figure out what was date and what was slash.

Asked for my vaccination records (DS-3025 I think they’re called?) and got them! The records even say ”give copy to applicant” but I heard this is not standard procedure at my medical office so I’m happy I asked so I can use them during AoS

Only interview left now! 🎈

Just a little but moreeeeee!!! 😊

doctor intrepreting other doctors handwriting 🤣🤣🤣🤣
