Guys, Where do I find the Fiance France Sub-forum. My fiancé is trying to schedule his medical exam and he can not get a hold of either of the approved physicians so Im not sure what to do since he has to have that scheduled before he can have his interview.

March 29th NOA2 approval, called the NVC today and they just received our case. According to the others seems like the case number is assigned within a week (the NVC lady said up to 8 weeks!). Wondering when I should call back to get the case number?

Also, any Swiss applicants who have already received their packet know any specific items we should have for the interview outside of the forms, evidence of continuing relationship, financial evidence (bank, tax forms, employer letter). I have checked the embassy website and emailed them but didn't get anything specific. My fiancé is here but leaves to go back May 1 and I want to make sure he has everything to take with him. Thanks for your help in advance!

As we are all immigrating soon, I was wondering about the plane ticket. I was searching flights for June and I had way better deals on a round trip, but I'm not coming back (obv), and even better if it the next day. And some airlines could complain about the one way ticket if they don't understand what K1 visa means. So, there is any right answer here? Do this really matters?

Hey guys!

NOA2 received on March 29th.

NVC just received my case today!

Hope this is a great week for everyone else!

Congrats! Hope your case gets to the embassy quickly.

We received our NOA2 on the 29th too. Just called but they have not received my case yet.😢  The postive side of this is that it looks like they are starting to work cases from the 29th.

You could always keep the flight back as a Flight credit.

I have never heard of airlines complaining about a one way ticket? If you mean the immigration officer wouldn't know about a K1 when you land at your POE, I doubt it. You have a package to hand them and they'll know and explain you'll have 90 days to marry.

When I was flying to Bali they didn't let me board because I needed to prove that I was going to leave in 30 days, so I had to purchase a ticket in 5 minutes, lesson learned. And as I think with United States the airline would say the same as they ask in the counter if you have a visa. The POE I know, if they didn't know about K1 then who would, right? :jest: but, they (poe) have means to know if I bought a round trip flight if I immigrating?

Just called them too and told me the same thing. Will try to call again tomorrow.  I hope we will receive ours very soon! *fingers crossed*

They should see it is a k1 visa. There are people with no return tickets it is normal as long as the airline can understand this. Which they should. (I’ll be using one way ticket)
