So i just got 2 emails from nvc.....

One said we approved your case for expedited processing and they have sent it off to the embassy and we will be contacted.

The next one says that it was approved and will be sent off shortly.

What in the world? I reuquested expedite back in Feb for the petition but was declined...  I did not request at nvc.

All K1s get expedited at the NVC 😊 it’s because of the short expiration date.

Oh okay. I was so confused haha.

Thank you!

Hi guys!

Is it possible for a case to go from AT NVC to READY in a matter of hours? I'm so confused.

I was ready to wait, this has completely blown me away. Just hoping it's not a mistake!

March 12, 2018 - RFE hard copy
March 14. 2018 - RFE response mailed
March 16, 2018 - RFE response received

QUESTION....when my fiancé went back into the visa system (https://ais.usvisa-info.com) to print his interview instructions confirmation, he accidently clicked on "add applicant" and the system created an IVR # but we aren't adding anyone else, it's just him we are petitioning for. The system won't let me delete the applicant box.

This won't affect my fiancé's current interview appointment that we already set up right? I just don't want to get to the interview and the EO says I see you clicked on "add applicant" but you didn't enter any information for another beneficiary. I assume that it would be okay since only paid on visa fee which was for him, but I don't want to assume hence why I'm asking for confirmation.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

Mine actually went straight from “At NVC” to “Ready”. I checked our case status online at night before going to bed and the status was still at NVC and in the morning around 11AM my time I received packet 3 from my embassy in the email. It went by so fast!

Thank you for the info! Wow, that's amazing, congrats! :)

I haven't heard from the embassy yet, so I'm planning to call them on Monday.

Hi All,

I waited 14 days after  NOA2 date 3/28/18 to call NVC non-immigrant line(k1-visa) still not received at NVC.:( It was 210 days between NOA1 8/31/17 and NOA2  date.  They stated it can take up to 6 weeks to receive and to call back in a week.   I asked a couple of questions.

1. When do they receive in cases from USCIS answer was all day long.

2. Will I receive an email on when the case was received AT NVC. No I will receive a letter.

I am curious if I receive an email once the UK embassy receives the case or is it my UK Fiance that will receive an email? - The NVC couldn't answer this one for me. It depends on the embassy.    What's the answer for this one?

Hey everyone! my case has arrive yesterday. And we got assign a case number. However, they put the wrong embassy. Any ideas how i can fix this? I tried calling them but they said to send an email. However, i think it will be too late before they respond.

You need to contact the Embassy where you want the interview to take place and they will contact the Embassy who has your case in error and request the packet be sent to them.  This will add an additional 2-3 weeks before you can schedule.

I asked this in another forum, but wanted to see if anyone had the answer here. on the I-134 form, questions 26-27, I filled it out with my fiances information but does my mother who is the sponsor fill out his information as well? or do I put N/A on her I-134?

You and your sponsor both complete separate I-134's with your own information. If you meet the poverty guidelines for the size of your household there is no need to have a cosponsor.  Check here for those numbers https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf

Q 26-27 You're the sponsor of your fiancee so her information would go there.

The joint sponsor must file a separate I-134 and provide his/her own supporting documents. Bank statements, Tax returns, etc must be provided just as the instructions state. You cannot combine your income with a joint sponsor to meet the difference. A joint sponsor must be fully capable of supporting the foreign fiance(e) and his/her own household.
