Hey, I received my NOA2 on the 24th of march! I really don't know why we were so lucky. The first person we talked to immediately gave us our case number within 5 minutes of being on the phone. The one thing he said is that our case is one of those new electronical applications. Maybe that's why it's going so fast?

You only called NVC once and you already got your case number in 5 minutes?? Thats incredible! We got approved march 28 and Ive been calling NVC after a week since then but still they havent received our case.

I called the NVC last night, and it still hasn't been received there yet, but the person I talked to actually told me the approval date for my case, instead of them asking me when I was approved.

Does that mean there has been at least some kind of movement between USCIS and the NVC, or did he just look up the approval date instead of asking me like the others have?

I would call them today...call them early in the morning and if nothing yet definitely call them in the evening. It's possible that their systems didn't update when you called last night and could be available today!

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

The notice date on the physical NOA2 is 3/28, but we received notification on the app and website on 3/29.

@John & Rose....I haven't spoke to you in a while. How are things going so far??? Are you with Rose and the kids yet????

Hi there.  I leave for the Philippines tomorrow.  Rose's birthday is Sunday and the interview is next Tuesday.  If all goes well I will be bringing them back on May 16!

How are you doing?  Isn't it weird how that 10 month wait just disappeared when you can focus on the next steps of new stress and challenges?  As bad as it felt, all that stress just ended when the NOA2 was issued.  Then we have the "oh now what do we need to do" stress.   LOL  I don't mind that stress because things really move fast on this side of NOA2.

How are your plans coming along?

I'll give them a call and see.  They are always so polite (at least all the ones I've spoken with so far).

NVC receives files just once a day.  I recommend just calling at night, say 10:00 PM EST.  The calls go right through and they will already have all of the day's petitions received in the system.  There is no need to call more than once a day.

It will be there before the week is out. Mine took 9 days. The average is about 9-20 days. Based on your NOA2, I would say between today no later than Friday they should have it.

The only reason why I recommend calling this morning was because OP said they told her what her NOA2 date was and not her providing it to them which could be that they have it but the system didn't update. Otherwise, I would always recommend calling in the evening. It's less call volume.

yeah, but it might be because michelle was here in germany for 2 weeks and she only called after she went back now, so it has been a few weeks since it was received at nvc and they had time to process it!

Guys Michelle just got two emails.. this is going so fast all of a sudden!!

Can someone tell me how they are going to contact me? Via Mail or Email? Should I call them?
