My case was sent on Jan. 12

Received on Jan 18

Sent to a supervisor in Feb 9

And i haven't received anything yet. Its very frustrating. I call everyday hoping to hear something but I just get told that they're backed up.

I get told differently from different agents.

One told me I should get it any day now ( that was 2 weeks ago) and I was told it can take 4-6 weeks from when the supervisor got it.

I feel they're just playing with us.

And i thought Nebraska was the last of my problems...but now NVC is proving to be so slow.

initially my  case was sent to Nebraska and the i797 letter was sent to a wrong address and waited one month to get the approval.

NVC is not working efficiently to input the documents into their system

My case has been received on the thirteenth however after two weeks they have not entered into the system.

Does anyone else have similar experience when transferring from USCIS  to NVC

Hi,

I received form 797 from USCIS on December 29th 2017 & on Feb 2nd notification from USCIS that they have passed my case onto NVC. I am yet to hear from NVC. I followed up with NVC and they said allow max 5 weeks from when they receive it from USCIS. So once that 5 weeks is up I will be chasing again. They do respond via email within 2 days so it is much better then USCIS.

Finally, i was able to get hold of NVC and after brief inquiry regarding my case. They said do not fret there are so many people waiting for a case number. USCIS decided to transfer a large number of approved cases to NVC at once and due to this they are facing a high amount of workload

typically after 16 days they will receive it. then it took them another week to get my case number.   they will always tell you some long wait time but if you just keep calling you will get the info you need to go to ceac.state.gov and assign your choice of agent and pay your aos fee.
