Filled 1-130 in July 2017. Still no answer.

Hello everyone! 
I filled out my I-130 for my spouse who is abroad in July 2017. Many people I know have gotten an answer by the 6th or 7th month. I am almost 8 and nothing. I checked the processing times for the office my case is being process and by Dec 31st,2017 they were reviewing cases from July 2nd. It's already march. Help!!
I am U.S citizen. Thanks.

Yes, they always update the processing times later. I check the processing times always and I noticed, they updated to Dec 31st in February. Also, the online case status per case in the USCIS website,

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Did you get a NOA? If you did, then you can use the number in it to follow up with USCIS, either by phone or infopass.  If no NOA, then you have a case of lost-without-trace mail.

[02/22, 2017]  - DAY 001  (day 1826) (N-400) Mailed package to Lewisville, TX, via USPS overnight

That's pretty close to current processing at the Texas Service Center.  All cases are not equal, and all human eyes of the officers are not equal....so there will always be earlier cases processed first.  At this point, I doubt USCIS would be able to tell you anything other than :Your case is being processed".
