Hi everybody. This wait is driving me craaaazy. My fiance and I are August 21st filers. Should I be worried that people after this date have been approved, should I just keep waiting? Is there a number to cool for a more recent update?

Petitions aren't always processed in order they are received. They tend to get handed out and some who were submitted first get put at the bottom of the pile and end up being looked at last. Nothing much about that can be done.

Some of the people reviewing cases are faster than others. Some petitions are "simpler" or smaller(less info) and quicker to process through. 

Sometimes when a previous file had an RFE, the evidence is received and the person reviewing them goes back to the older file to finish it off with the RFE, causes delays to the others possibly. 

People take vacations, sick days, ect.

And sometimes it takes longer to verify certain documents, or for the background/name checks to complete. Just because some people were approved before you isn't a sign that anything is wrong or your case was forgotten or something.
