Wow. I know the wait sucks but no RFEs means you sent all you need to... I'm hoping you hear something soon. Where are you located?

Thanks,  I'm from Phoenix, Arizona

I saw another case on here but for K1 that was based in Arizona... They've been waiting for an interview since 2017. Maybe the office is just incredibly slow... That sucks.

Yeah but that's for GC. The problem here is NBC

Got my interview date in the mail earlier. November 14th. Conveniently on a day my husband is off! Also I found it really strange that my letter was addressed to me but also in the care of my mother who doesn't even live in the country. Wondering why they used her name instead of my spouse.

Okay, got a notification today that my EAD card is being produced... A month before my interview. Interesting. I guess I'll use it to get a name change and get a new Texas state ID since I lost my other one.

Ours came like that, too. It's common for them to put the mother's name as "in care of" on the interview letter.

Apparently, it is to help with identification, or to differentiate between GC applicants with the same name. I didn't ask our IO about that though, that's just the reason I read on here.

Quick update - just got back from our interview. Approved on the spot. Interview was 15/20 minutes long. Mostly consisted of fact checking (if I knew her birthday, birth place, and parents names, and vice versa), updating my employment info, asking how we met and when we married, and going through bona fide marriage evidence (we didn't have much evidence, but what we had was sufficient enough as a young married couple). Asked the typical yes/no questions from the forms, took my medical form and that was it. Got back to the car and got an email and text about my case being updated - card is being produced!

Glad to be done with the process for the next almost 2 years!

I have a question --- I did my medical last year November 11th. It was submitted with my applications. My interview is on the 14th. Will they tell me I need to get another medical done since it'll be a few days expired? Will that delay my green card being produced?

I guess the thread has pretty much gone dead. Received EAD card today, three weeks before my interview. And went ahead and got another medical done just in case.
