I know what you mean, I feel like me & my partner are starting to lose our sanity a bit. It's hard when you made the decision 6 months ago to spend your lives together, but you can't actually DO anything about it until your application is approved in a long and undetermined timeframe.

 

My partner visited me for a week in early September. It was lovely, but saying goodbye is painful. I truly hope we don't have to do it many times more.

 

But, it is what it is. If we want to be together we will need to get through this. Every day brings more approvals, and every day brings us closer to being with the one we love.

Hi there guys! I am just wondering for anyone who has received and RFE and also then got response to that RFE-- how long did it take for them to review your updated application and get an approval? I am reading it can take up to another 90 days to hear back from the USCIS. But I'm wondering what people here have experienced so far. The only thing my application was missing was a box was not checked on my criminal history. That's it. Thanks!

I've read that it's typically a couple weeks for simple RFEs. Waiting for mine to arrive in the mail to test that  😕

Hey guys I been seeing a lot of approvals, so I was checking a few times a day to see if there was any updates on my case but nothing, so I decided to call and guess what my case was approved since the 24th 😁 I didn’t get the text or email and my case still shows as received.

I don't know if anyone noticed but, they pushed back the processing times. Now it's 5.5 - 7.5 months.

and the Current date was pushed back to Feb 21 from Feb 28th.

Depending on the processing center. California center is 5.5-7.5 months...Which is a recent update. A few days ago it was 5-7 months.

I seem to recall that for February, March, and April, there was a much larger than usual number of applicants for those months. So, perhaps they are taking more time to work through the higher caseload?
