Not yet, I was going to try to stay patient until day 220, but I might try calling soon since it looks like they're getting close to starting April.

My fiance called and they told him that it is Still in process.  I literally feel like my heart is falling off my chest!!!

We got a RFE. Don't know why yet. I explained I was leaving Friday to visit my fiance and would like to know in case I need to get something from him. She said that she couldn't tell me but call back tomorrow morning and ask for tier 2, explain the circumstance, and they would he able to tell me. Not sure why I had to call back tomorrow morning. Maybe tier 2 is already closed.

I had a feeling about this due to not including terms of service for the dating app we met through, which I didn't read we should have  included till it was too late. Hoping that's it.

Trying to stay positive that at least we're moving forward instead of just waiting! Generally how long is the turn around for RFEs? Does anyone know if I'll be required to wait for the hard copy before I can process, meaning after I get back from El Salvador, or if based on the information they give me tomorrow, I can deal with it? Of course I'll ask the agent but just curious.

Did you call to ask about your case weeks before? And if so, what did they tell you?

I've called a number of times and each time up till today was that there was no update. The status change still hasn't hit the websites.

Did they tell you it was in process or back then, did they say there seems to be no additional documents being requested?

They said that it was in process and gave me the spill about what the processing time was, where they were currently, and when they would be able to submit a service request (at the 7 month mark).

Hopefully they can tell you what it's about, but it's good to know there's been movement at least! I've heard an RFE takes about 2 to 4 weeks to resolve on average. And yes, I think you're supposed to wait for the hard copy.

Hi all — We have followed this thread for a few months but have never posted. Very surprised when we checked on our case status today.

NOA1 “Old” site: 03/23

NOA1 “New” site: 03/28

NOA2: 09/24

Definitely worth the upfront effort we invested into the application + supporting evidence. Now off to figure out how to navigate the next steps...

I'd me happy to check my library of information on your Embassy but many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Right, I had to unsubscribe email notifications because I start crying everytime someone else gets approved, but I'm also happy for them-- it's so conflicting lol.

Ease your pain and follow my suggestions I just posted one above.

For all you that are waiting I have at tip that's worked for others and for myself included.

Use the tools here in VJ to answer "when I am going to get etc. etc." question. Near your picture there is a link for your timeline. Select it and once you're on the next page near your picture you will see "follow similar timelines" and it will populate 12 other couples who are near your dates. Scroll down and you will see a "spreadsheet" style page showing all the variables for measurement for when others are getting the same notice of approval or action.  Try it. It really works!

I followed those that were in my group to give me an idea where they were in processing so I could judge if I was ahead or behind.  It's pretty accurate, maybe within a day or so.

If you choose to follow those twelve members then you will get an email every time their status updates. Hope this brings down the anxiety levels.

Genius!! Thank you!!!

Okie. This is all what I see though. Is that what you meant? I don't see anyone else from Belize here.

For those of you who have received their case numbers from NVC -- were you contacted by email when NVC received your petition from USCIS? When they sent the petition to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate?

My fiance's address has changed, and I just need to be sure that the embassy knows this before they mail him a letter with more detailed instructions...to the wrong address.
