Feb 2017: Started online "dating"

May 2017: Met in Orlando

July 2017: Arkansas and Seminole (1 night) visit

October 2017: Washington DC visit.

December 2017: Seminole OKC home visit and Amanda  met Chayne's kids and dad.

January 2018:  York England visit Chayne met Amanda's son.

April 2018: London/Paris/York visit we got engaged on April 6th!!

April 19th 2018: packet sent

April 23rd 2018: USPS say packet signed for.

April 25th 2018: Electronic NOA1 received 

April 26th 2018: Cheque Cashed

April 30th 2018: hard copy NOA1 received

Hi all — We have followed this thread for a few months but have never posted. Very surprised when we checked on our case status today.

 

NOA1 “Old” site: 03/23

NOA1 “New” site: 03/28

NOA2: 09/24 

 

Definitely worth the upfront effort we invested into the application + supporting evidence. Now off to figure out how to navigate the next steps...

I’ve just cried so much on FaceTime with him BECAUSE WE ARE APPROVED!!!!

NOA1 - 21st old / 24th new March

NOA2 - 24th September 

I was loosing hope that this day would ever come. I think I’ve felt sick for the last month, the wait was killing me. I was checking the new and old site every hour or so! 

 

I hope everyone gets the message they want really soon, hold on Marchers. Your time is coming ❤️

We got a RFE. Don't know why yet. I explained I was leaving Friday to visit my fiance and would like to know in case I need to get something from him. She said that she couldn't tell me but call back tomorrow morning and ask for tier 2, explain the circumstance, and they would he able to tell me. Not sure why I had to call back tomorrow morning. Maybe tier 2 is already closed. 

 

I had a feeling about this due to not including terms of service for the dating app we met through, which I didn't read we should have  included till it was too late. Hoping that's it. 

 

Trying to stay positive that at least we're moving forward instead of just waiting! Generally how long is the turn around for RFEs? Does anyone know if I'll be required to wait for the hard copy before I can process, meaning after I get back from El Salvador, or if based on the information they give me tomorrow, I can deal with it? Of course I'll ask the agent but just curious.

The new USCIS web site is showing I was approved today.

 

Old Site NOA1: 3/14

New Site NOA1: 3/19

Approved on 9/24

Not yet, I was going to try to stay patient until day 220, but I might try calling soon since it looks like they're getting close to starting April.
