Aw, man!  So sorry to hear.  It is kind of luck of the draw with USCIS.   I hope that next time you call, you will get someone kind.  Also - for the next step, calling NVC after NOA2 for your case #, those folks up in New Hampshire are exceptionally nice!

I first received a text from USCIS saying there was an update on my case. Checked the new site -- nothing. Checked the old site and I gasped when this came up!

Everytime I get an email or a text I get excited and jump to my phone to check it, just to get disappointed when it's just a spam email, lol. I'm feeling a bit crazy today. We're so close! The waiting hasn't felt too awful until now. Really missing my SO extra today! I hope we keep seeing steady approvals and congrats to those who received theirs :) let's all hang on tight and keep supporting one another!

Hey guys! Just a quick update, I asked my fiancé to call Uscis. He did, and she said that you are still within normal processing times. He asked to be connected to Tier 2, but she didn't want to do it, he literally asked her to be connected 3 times. 

 

She gave up in the end :D

 

And now he is waiting for the Tier 2 officer to call back (waiting time is crazy though 300 minutes :()

 

I'll let you know what they reply later.

Hi all,

 

My fiancé and I are expecting our baby in February (not planned!). I'm going to stay in the UK. BUT I was wondering, can we get married while waiting on the K1 visa? OR, if anyone has been through something similar did they go through the US embassy once the baby was born and get the baby's passport and citizenship in their local country (i.e. UK for me) or wait until they enter the US on the K1 with the baby. In which case would the baby need an ESTA? Thank you in advance!! x
