I started to get excited because someone put they received their NOA2 today and their NOA1 was March 12. But then they removed it so maybe it was by mistake. 😩

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I have followed this forum since my fiancé and I filed at the beginning of March but never signed up or posted and I guess I missed it- When you guys say old and new sites, what do you mean? What is the new site? I’m not sure if that’s a silly question and I’m sorry if it is. The website I use to log in on says they received my case on March 1st, but I’m not sure if my new date has been pushed so I can keep my eyes peeled. Thanks so much!

ApproximAtely 70% of cases will have an approval between 6-7 months.  The remaining 30% will be hung up on security clearances and rfe’s and probably extend past 7 months.  My estimate is 6 months 1 week average for cases with no issues.  The vj timelines say the same.  We are at 52% approval for february with 4 days to go so they will be essentailly done with february minus the 30% filers with rfe/security this weekend.  The latest february reported at present is February 26 so we may still see a march filer or two this week and next week they will start trickling in slowly.  This is my take on things and my estimate.

Most of what u Have stated is true. But, only about 40 % of February have received noa2. Based on previous months, they should start with maybe a couple end of next week for march. But, would count on them starting in 1.5 weeks. Take into account that Monday is also a holiday in the states. Which always throws a wrench into the mix.

hang on guys. It's just around the corner now. 👊🏻💪🏼

Just curious what you mean when you say security clearances? As far as what I have been told this part of the process literally is only checking to make sure all the paperwork is there and filled out properly, and that is it. After this-- then they do the background checks and really look into both people more. So just wondered if you knew something that I didn't about this part of the process.

Security clearances or background checks same thing really i guess i should have said background checks instead.

Also someone say 40% for february.  This would be true if everyone updated their timelines but only 70% do on average every month so that skews the results.  February has 392 people on here with around 143 approvals or around 37% approved.  But of the 392 only 70% will update on average or 275 people so 143 divoded by 275 gives you over 50%.  That is my rational using previous months.  Oct, nov, dec are all sitting around 70% approved on here....

Right I understood that is what you meant originally. But my question is do you know that they do some sort of security or background check during this part of the process while we wait to receive the NOA2? Because as I said my lawyer told me this part of the process is literally just to check that all the paperwork and forms area all there and filled out. The background checks do not come until the other parts of the process-- unless you have heard or know something I do not? Because as you stated it sounds like you are thinking some of the I-129s are taking longer to get processed due to background checks-- which from what I understand again that has nothing to do with this part of the process. :)
