Just the 1 approval so far for march. Case got snuck in some how..😂😜😂

This happened with a few November 2017 filers too!
It was like November 6th filers. Some USCIS staff must have taken that box by accident cuz they all got approved like 3 months in advance

Seems to happening often now.
Am beginning to think it's no accident. Maybe USCIS is trying to do a few days each month well in advance to reduce the "average" pace they're working at?
hmmm

November last year was way weird how they did thing.

Recall first lot of approvals was November 18th and they kept going on from there then went and started the beginning of the month.

Like u say. It's a numbers game that they have to meet quarterly. So they jump around a bit to get there overall number down.

like us seeing the June 2018 approval after just over a month. It brought everyone's vj time line down by a day or 2.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Eh.

One outlier case could in theory have a significant affect on VJ averages depending on how they're calculated (there are ways to do this that wouldn't be affected much by outliers, but I don't think VJ has posted how they calculate things), because there are only a few hundred people actively updating their timelines per month here.

It doesn't have much impact on USCIS internal numbers, which include the >90% of cases that are from couples that aren't here (they have access to accurate data from every case; they don't need to rely on self-reported data). I could be wrong, but I don't think USCIS cares about manipulating numbers at VJ (or any other community of visa applicants).

Understand what ur saying. Keep in mind we only see about 10% of total filers per month. Us seeing a odd approval here and there makes a big difference for us. But, how many are done without anyone other the the petitioner and beneficiary only knowing? We can guesstimate on that. It help help anything tho😂

Most large companies have quota they have to meet per month, quarter, and yearly. I'd think It be safe to say that there is a magical number they have to reach per person.

No data to back this up. Just going by normal business sense.

To my knowledge our case was not expedited but it seems it was approved two months early? We are thrilled of course. Thanks for noticing 👍

the only thing I can think of, is that I submitted a typographical error to correct the spelling of her surname. I had to correct spellings in 3 items on our application. I didn’t notice this until June I believe? I posted a discussion about it here. Anyways, it seems they fixed her misspellings without any problems and went ahead and granted NOA2.

we are still waiting on NVC to receive our documents. But we are relieved. Thanks.

Congrats! Hope everything continues to go smoothly for you guys!

We just updated the home address a week ago xD maybe we will be lucky too? Ahahah

Speaking of address change. The old site has record of the address change I did a month after the NOA1 in the case history. The new site does not. Is it safe to assume they ported our new address over to the new site?

Never check the USCIS account, and today I have decided to do it. Well, It shows the following message and not sure what it means. It looks to me that they have send some documentation to us and that the post office has send it back. My fiancé just move during this days  but the lawyer told to us that she will be in charge of contacting USCIS to inform them. Any idea of what that could means?, anyone in the same spot?

Sorry for my English, I have tried to do my best.

Hopefully soon we Will start seeing some approvals!!!!!

Good luck to everyone!

If I had to guess it might've been RFE? It was sent back in May. Your petitioner needs to contact them ASAP and update their address and request document to be resend.

Also, I would strongly suggest you edit out those images as your case number is plainly visible, and you don't want someone taking advantage of it (e.g. filling change address request on your behalf)

It seems the lawyer already told them what to do? Which is contact USCIS on the link they put in the message. They need to do that ASAP, and also verify correct address.

Ok, I reread your message, you said 'My fiancé just move during this days  but the lawyer told to us that she will be in charge of contacting USCIS to inform them.'  By "she" I am guessing you mean the lawyer. Seeing how it has been over 3 months now since USCIS sent you this note, you might want to take initiative and contact USCIS directly, by just updating address and requesting they resend the document.

OK I'm officially joining and remaining in the March crew. LOL. I hate this old site new site ####### seriously. I was for sure I was February based on NOA1 date on hardcopy and old website, but the stupid new site insists on giving me a date of March 1st so to calm my anxiety I am setting my brain to expect my approval in September and relax a few more weeks.

On another note...I'm worried about my taxes guys...I am self employed and I wrote off EVERYTHING I could possibly write off, but I'm not sure I meet the qualifications because it looks like I earned negative income last year. I'm wondering if they take that literally or see that I made well over the minimum but had several deductions claimed. Should I get a second person to sponsor just in case? I'm a little confused by it. Or do I submit new pay stubs with my documents showing my current income?

I-129F Sent Feb 6, 2018

I-129F Sent back due to fee error Feb 19, 2018

I-129-F Sent again February 20, 2018

NOA1 Received February 26, 2018 (Old Site)

NOA1 Received March 1, 2018 (New Site)

Interview......February 7, 2019

Visa In Hand......February 14, 2019
